Currently watching At Home with the Braithwaites from yonks ago now. Peter Davison (rocking a Yorkshire accent) and Amanda Redman are great in this and I’m definitely enjoying it so far.
I think Keeley Fawcett who plays Charlotte is a real standout performer in this as well. It’s a shame that she appears to have done nothing after this aside from an adaptation of ‘Carrie’s War’ in 2004.

It's another tv-on-youtube rather than actual tv-on-tv, but I discovered that the television pilot of "Zero Effect" is on Youtube.
"Zero Effect" was a movie starring Bill Pullman as a particularly-eccentric detective (he isolates himself away from the world when not working), and Ben Stiller as his long-suffering lawyer (his only contact with the real world outside of cases).
In the television version, Alan Cumming played the Bill Pullman character. I reckon the reason it didn't go to series because he over-acts outrageously.
Anyway, both are by Jake Kasdan, who's made various enjoyable films. I like the movie version, and the tv pilot passes a half-hour.

This evening I've been watching the two-part 2015 'Bones' / 'Sleepy Hollow' crossover and, well, that was certainly... 85minutes. Just because you *can* crossover two shows that air back-to-back doesn't mean that you *should*...
If anyone needs me, I'll be having a stiff drink.

The final episode of Time. Yes it's very much a polemic but is so well done. A character driven drama about the prison system.

On Monday I watched the 'Scandal' / 'How To Get Away With Murder' crossover from March 2018. Whilst I will say that I haven't seen either show before (and that the 'Murder' episode was a bit of a background-watch), even after the first ten minutes, it was a welcome palate cleanser after viewing the 'Bones' / 'Sleepy Hollow' crossover the night before. Whilst I don't know if I would strictly 'binge' either show, I'd happily consider giving an episode or two a watch now and then if I was bored and they happened to be playing on television...
This evening I wrapped up the sixth series of 'Arrow' and, whilst I don't know if I 'loved' it (or series 5), I did at least enjoy it enough... At the moment I am now three episodes into series seven and, time allowing, I'm hoping to watch the 'Elseworlds' crossover-trilogy either after work on Sunday or on Monday.
'Currently starting to wind down for the evening over the 2017 "Pandora's Box" 'NCIS' crossover. Whilst, again, I don't know if I'm 'loving it' (take a drink every time I say that), I enjoyed part 1 fine and it's nice to see a New Orleans Mardi Gras from what I've seen of part 2, I must say (my parents and I were there in the summer of 2019, & went to a museum about it and have had a passing interest about it since)...

Clarice S01E13.. What a great dark show this is. Set approx 1 year after the events of the movie. Buffalo Bill is still sort of living "rent free inside her head". The "it puts the lotion on it's skin.." woman in the well is a cast member too- not full time, but definitely every couple episodes.. Naturally it is 99% already axed. ARGH! Much like with the BF ranges I adore, they get cancelled.. !

Sooo.... "Birdgirl." What on Earth is the point of this show? (Apart from meaning that E4 can show three cartoons in a row). I mean, if Fred Flintstone's not getting sued, where's the appeal?

I’ve slowly been rewatching The Mandalorian over the past week or so. I’m currently watching The Marshal, one of my personal favorites of the entire show. Any opportunity to dig into the culture of Tatooine - and especially the Tusken Raiders - is always appreciated. Bonus points if it’s a proper western story like this. I love the casting of Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth. I first saw him in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood where he played an actor playing a character in a Western, so needless to say this just felt super appropriate.
I love all the little touches, like the Krayt Dragon’s cry matching all of Obi-Wan’s imitations from ANH, or the Raiders riding in a single file, also how we know they’re supposed to move from ANH. Even how they attempt to subdue the beast is heavily reminiscent of its appearance in the video game Knights of the Old Republic, which I recently played last month. Of course, the fact that this is already a very solid episode is what I think allows me to appreciate these details, but it’s fun to notice them as a longtime fan anyways.

I just finished the third season of Castlevania. Anyone watch this show? Holy cow, it's really good but oh so bleak. And not at all for kids. There is some amazing voice talent in this as well. Highly recommended.

I saw a trailer for season 4 on tv.. I immediately examined my life choices why I had never seen/heard of this.. It's going on my list to watch.

I think you'll recognise some of the names in the cast list (the lead did The Martian Invasion of Earth for Big Finish, a couple years ago ).

I have dozens of seasons of boxsets sitting in my Batcave collecting dust LOL. A lot we can't let Jnr see because it's adult tv with language/violence etc. No way will I let him watch South Park yet
