Driving home I was thinking about Benny and the Unbound 3rd Doctor and decided one of the reasons I liked the pairing so much is Benny began life as the first real companion not tied to the TV show and Warner's Doctor began life as a version of the Doctor not bound to the TV series. They are kind of perfect together. Anyway, yay for more Benny Unbound.

Oh, that's on my list. My current Benny binge has hit series 8, and is continuing on. Looking forward to this.

So much for my 'credit card rest cure'... Up until a week ago I had never listened to a single Benny story. Sure, I knew they would be very good (BF isn't it?) but the BF Whoniverse is vast and there's only so much listening you can fit in... and then.. then they put 'The Triumph of Sutekh' on sale didn't they? And I bought it and loved it and now I need to get Volume 3 and catch up on the Unbound disks (which I have, on a shelf piled-up desk, unheard) before this one comes out. Because Volume 4 seems to have bought itself... such is life in the BF Whoniverse...

I need to get around to pre-ordering this sometime. Probably later this month or next.

Had no idea that Hattie Hayridge was in this set. Brilliant! And Sam Kisgart is back. Thank goodness, I didn't care for that Gatiss bloke that stood in for him last time.

Had no idea that Hattie Hayridge was in this set. Brilliant! Wow, neither did I. Is this her first time with Big Finish?

So glad to see Sam Kisgart back (obviously the business with the seven unmatched socks, the Empress's pearls and Prince Harry's nose have been resolved), Gatiss was oaky, but there us only one Sam Kisgart.

David Warner is doing the Benny range but I wonder how much mileage thre would be in bringing back other Unbound Doctors?
Cushing was the most prominent but he's no longer with us and I don't suppose there would be point in douing Companion Chronicles, but what about Rowan Atkinson and Richard E Grant, prequelling Curse of Fatal Death and sequelling Scream of te Shalka. Would people buy them?!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Volume 5 also features David Warner's Dr. Who.
The end of Volume 3 implied we'd be seeing a return that doesn't appear to be in Volume 4.

Anyone else thinking that we're getting a sequel to The Last Post? I mean there is mention of the Apocalypse Clock from that story.
