I'll be brutally honest Tony, I think it's one of the worst trilogies BF have ever done. Moonflesh in particular is terrible - particularly for wasting Hugh Fraser and giving John Banks such an appalling culturally insensitive native American character - but none are better than mediocre. I'm sure some defend them but part of the reason I've loved the Fifth Doctor in his last two trilogies is that the one in the sale was just so bad it put me off him for a while, as did the old Nyssa arc that went on for far too long. On the plus side, if you'e aiming to get everything eventually - you may as well pay as little as possible for the bad ones.

Wow glad I asked , thanks mark687 and @davygallagher. That's a difficult question, do I want everything eventually? Yes, but I doubt I'll get The Boy that Time Forgot so basically won't ever have all of the Main Range anyway. So do I get these 'cos they're cheap or just put them on the "not to buy" shelf. Hmmm, decisions... Last one is not in doubt. The Burning Prince, have the others and have been waiting for this to be on sale to complete the trilogy. With the money I've spent recently (both on BF and other things lol) I might just get The Burning Prince . Cheers Tony

Thinking about getting three or four of the stories on offer, any recommendations? (I've only seen the first three 5th Doctor serials, though I've listened to maybe a dozen of his BF audios)
(Heard good things about Fanfare, and the 5th Dr Boxset)

To add to the GoTness, Greatjon Umber himself, Clive Mantle is in it. As is George Rainsford who many will know from Call The Midwife and Holby/Casualty. It's a really good wee story, nothing to set the heather alight but a nice classical fantasy oriented piece.

These are the ones on sale I don't already have
The Jupiter Conjunction The Burning Prince Eldrad Must Die!, Moonflesh Tomb Ship Masquerade
What would be everyone's favorites out of these? It sounds like The Burning Price is a good one?

Love the 5th Doctor, but there many audios in this sale that I have avoid due to reviews/general concencuss. It's weird, the selection shows the very best and very worst of Big Finish.

I lied Jupiter Conjunction
Eldred I found a bit plodding
As an American you may Hate Moonflesh as Davy said, so only get that Tomb ship and Masquerade if you want your collection complete.

The Jupiter Conjuction is good, The Burning Prince is really good and a whole lot of fun, I don't particularly like Eldred, and the other three are forgettable.

Three superb stories there. Fanfare in particular is one of the best stories Big Finish have made.

I would definately recommend 'Tomb Ship', although the ending is slightly disappointing. Apart from that, I really liked the story. Great doom-laden atmosphere!
