From Listeners Emails:
Regarding The Original Version of The Three Doctors known as "Death World" Nick says "What an interesting idea" in a cryptic tone
More Praise for The Ninth Doctor Adventures and the positive environment of Big Finish
No Plans for Audios featuring The Peter Cushing Doctor are unlikely to happen due to Rights Issues

It does make you wonder who they would get to play Catweazle if Big Finish did ever get the license.
You could have a sort of crossover with the Cushing Doctor if you did something along the lines of an historical adventure featuring Peter Cushing on the set of some unspecified movie of his.

From the E-Mails Heavy Hint that the Original 3 Doctors scripts will become a "Lost Story" Release Thanks and praise for Eccelstone for continuing with BF (Series 2 is is deep in pre production) A "DR Who" 60s Movie Rage is a nice idea though rights are complicated Regards mark687 Since apparently Return of The Cybermen had a deleted bit of the script which had a reference to The Original Three Doctors according to John Dorney i think Death world would be likely released in 2023 for the 50th anniversary of The Three Doctors

From Listeners Emails: No Plans for Audios featuring The Peter Cushing Doctor are unlikely to happen due to Rights Issues They're owned by Studiocanal. Say no more. They are very, very strict licencees. As we see with The Avengers, which they also own, - BF are allowed to adapt (missing eps, novels, comics) but not create new material. They also own the second biggest film and TV library in the world so even getting them to sit down and have a meeting for something like that would be such small potatoes for them. Though Cushing was to do a 52 episode BBC Radio version of Who, and he wasn't playing the movie version. Amicus who made the films were not involved nor consulted, the BBC were to employ him to play the same character but not the same version (just as played Holmes Hound Of The Baskervilles on film for Hammer and TV for the BBC). Sadly the pilot ep was rejected and lost. Though one script for the proposed series (written by Mac Hulke no less!) was found about a decade ago. So rights there might be easier to gain since SC are not involved but I'm not sure there'd be much interest in either.

As far as I’m aware, in terms of The Avengers that’s due to labyrinthine rights issues around the Ralph Fiennes movie rather than it being SC’s general policy.

I'm surprised that anyone's particularly bothered by retaining their interests in *that* whatsitstorm. They won't even countenance releasing the (potentially rather better) director's cut

A Director’s cut could be what it needs.

Yep, it’s more in that ballpark than retaining an interest. But I don’t know details.

You can't just list off the month's coming releases and call it news (at least provide the specific weeks as best you can), just as you can't advertise three emails as a bumper edition listeners emails. I'll stick with catching up on the Fiction Paradox podcast. Oh get a grip Omega.

Still, hard to argue with the sentiment.
