There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Yeah. Those emails seem so, oh I don't know, quaint right about now.

I typically drive my daughter to school in the morning. We talk while she's in the car, then I turn on the radio after I drop her off. The first words I heard spoken today from a person who wasn't a member of my family were, "President Trump tweeted..." and I knew it was going to be one of those days. Is this going to erode his support? It's so clearly and obviously an unforced error that it's hard to defend this with the usual "Trump is so brilliant, this is just some razzle-dazzle sleight of hand to distract his opponents while he maneuvers for a checkmate in the game of eleventh-dimensional chess he's playing".

People can say what they like about James Comey but one of the biggest impressions I get from watching him the past few years is that James Comey is not a person you want to screw around with. I think POTUS is going to be finding that out for some time. And honestly, could Trump have had a worse week than the one that just finished up? And all self-inflicted. It is amateur hour in the Oval Office.

What?! Even as a Trump supporter, that's really silly.

And yet last week Trump actually committed obstruction of justice. Twice. No gotchas. No media. Just doing it himself. Amateur hour in the Oval Office. U.S.A!

I'm just going to add this. This is not personal at anyone present, but more an observation from my experiences on social media especially in the response to Comey's firing.
Criticising Trump does not equal promoting Hillary Clinton.
Somehow the response of his supporters to any criticism of Trump usually seems to be 'but Hillary was worse'. The election is over. It's not about Hillary anymore. She is not relevant to political discussion anymore. Why is she still being brought up at all? Not all non-Trump supporters supported her in the first place anyway.
Trump is President now, every action he takes will be scrutinised. Why Comey was fired is not clear, it needs clarification. Trump and his own White House have offered two conflicting stories, and now there's implications he tried to compel Comey to ease off the investigation, which surely at least needs looking into.
The United States was designed with a strong executive, therefore that executive needs scrutinising.
Right I've said my piece, I'm going back to the election on my side of the pond. Best wishes to those across the pond.

And again we come back to obstruction of justice. And I agree. Hillary Clinton was a flawed candidate and to be perfectly honest, I don't think Sanders would have won either. Do I think either one of those two would have been a better President? Well, I don't think they could have been much worse. That said, we had our Brexit and the Electoral College made Trump President. The burden of the office falls upon him. The mistakes and missteps reflect upon him and his administration. It he who must be held accountable. Let's see how long that takes.

Comey’s Memo Is the Smoking Gun of Donald Trump’s WatergateTrump has abused his power and perverted the functioning of the government in a way utterly inconsistent with democratic government as Americans understand it. If the FBI can be unleashed on the president’s enemies, and restrained from prosecuting his allies, then the presidency would become an instrument of authoritarian control.

Unfortunately Donald Trump is being protected by GOP hypocrites Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. Wonder what Trump has to do for them to finally say enough is enough. In other news Erdogan's bodyguards physically attacked Kurdish Americans who were protesting outside the Turkish ambassador's residence in DC. What country is this again? www.cnn.com/2017/05/17/politics/turkey-erdogan-incident/

Nelson Mandella had it so easy. When you pause to think, there is an alarming large list of politicians who were imprisoned or even murdered... but somehow, just somehow, this idiot thinks he's been treated worse. The more I think about it, the more insulted and offended I feel, I wonder what the family of Jo Cox feel when they hear garbage like that. Yeah, his suffering is so great. I really really want to swear, but I will refrain, but grow up man, grow the **** up, your mere words... ah.... I need to think about something else, the more I think about this, the more outraged I become.
