Pretty much the thread title. The Third Doctor as played by Tim Treloar, with Katy Manning playing the wonderful trans-temporal adventuress. Paul Magrs should write. Something like Verdigris,to get you smiling.
Even if it is just one story it'd be enormous fun to have a couple of hours in the madness of Paul Magrs writing for Iris. Maybe the other story can be very serious (like the tone of the season 7 stories) to balance it out.
And you don't like Auntie Iris, what the 'eck is wrong with you, you daft apeth?

I'll have to disagree - I really can't stand Iris, that character grates on my nerves after a few minutes.

Doctor (murmuring): I don't believe it. Jo: Why've you stopped Doctor- (suprised) oh Doctor (murmuring): It can't be! Jo: Either it's my imagination or there's a double decker bus where you'd never expect one! Iris (shouting from a distance): Cooee! I can see you over there! Doctor: It can't be her. Iris (reaches the Doctor and Jo): 'Ello Doctor! Give us a hug. You're looking as handsome as ever And who's your friend? 'Ello Jo. Jo: Have we met? Iris: It was that time with that Verdigris chap, remember? Oh, wait, that another medium. Your Auntie Iris is a daft apeth, make no mistake. Why so silent Doctor? That's not like you.

Iris always sounds like Bill Oddie in drag to me, and as a one-joke character that has been stretched way too thin already, I'd have to vote no thank you as well, personally.

The books can be something of a chore if you aren't in the mood for fantastical whimsical craziness. I will never touch Blue Angel again (it's on the never again list along with The Space Age). You've got to be in the mood for a poodle smoking a long cigar on a couch against a fluorescent pink backdrop (and a gold Doctor Who logo!).

Sorry, the character is worse than fingers on a chalkboard. I love Katy Manning, but not enough to seek out Iris.

I can understand people enjoying the atmosphere of a good All Blacks or Crusaders match, but I'd just be annoyed it was too loud for me to have my earphones in.

Chalk me up as another no. I don't really like Iris. I don't get her at all. I don't dislike The Wormery, but I'm not a huge fan of it either.

Noooooooooooo not a fan of Iris Wildtimes, the character is very irritating & gets on my ruddy nerves, her inclusion is not needed, bring back Benton & do a Cybermen Vs UNIT story.

I get a big kick out of Auntie Iris but I like Katy even better as Jo. Maybe when the 3rd Doctor Adventures are better established with more releases accomplished I'd think more of the idea of Iris dropping in on them? I would most definitely like to have a full cast 3rd Doctor Cybermen story before an Iris story!

Well, I'm among the fans of ol' Auntie Iris and, such: would not mind her inclusion with ANY doctor, including Three. (however I wonder how well Katy's voice would hold up ranging from teenie-Jo to alcohol-scrubbed-Iris and back.)
