So do we reckon the reviving of dead Time Lords uncovered in Celestial Intervention is how Rassilon comes back to become Gallifrey's president? Have you listened to this box set?

He's listened to Celestial Intervention. He's posted in 'What Have You Been Listening To Today?'. Why would DB discuss story details if he didn't own the release?

So, considering Leela's fate in WD4.3, and an obvious gap between this and that, Dalek Empire:The Time War? Detailing that, plus the loss of Davros from the Dalek POV? Rather than shoehorning a "non Gallifrey" Leela story into a future Gallifrey release. I think it's only a matter of time before we see a Dalek Empire: Time War boxset ... and the obligatory Davros: Time War box set to go with it!

Only the first episode, and there was no direct mention there of Rassilon with the gateway/reviving dead Time Lords thing.

Still waiting to the inevitable The War Monk: Only the Mischievous to be announced. If Big Finish's Time War stuff continues to be of good quality, long may it continue.

How oddly subdued and quiet was the actual declaration of War. We know how it ends, how it’s fought but the start was “the Daleks were pricks to some people we like, were off to war”. I was sort of expecting the Daleks to Pearl Hsrbour Gallifrey.

We know the Daleks don’t really attack Gallifrey until the very end of the war, surely? They invade Arcadia and that’s where the War Doctor takes the decision to use The Moment.
I agree it’s a subdued way they waged war, but not sure I’d have expected the Daleks to attack Gallifrey.

I agree it’s a subdued way they waged war, but not sure I’d have expected the Daleks to attack Gallifrey. They didn’t land ground forces until prior to Arcadia, but a blitz by bombers across the planet? A surgical strike against the Loom Forests? A targeted strike against Gallifrey’s deep past as reprisal for sending the Doctor to abort the Daleks?

I was sort of expecting the Daleks to Pearl Hsrbour Gallifrey. I quite liked the idea of a slow build-up. The Daleks are steadily overwhelming the Temporal Powers so the Time Lords eventually have take a stand. The Fall of Phaidon is the invasion of Poland-a step too far the Time Lords cannot abide. Besides from a certain point of view, Gallifrey's Pearl Harbour has already happened-the Daleks have openly attacked Gallifrey twice before. What I wasn't so sold on was that the act of declaring war was kind of put on the back-burner of the episode until the end.

Quick question; what happened to K9 in the Gallifrey series? Having not heard past sets, I’m not sure whether to expect him in some Time War shenanigans or not!

Presumably one of them somehow ended up in the K-9 TV series after that.

Bizarrely its supposed to be constructed from the remains of Mark 1 to become Mark 1.5 though how they got to 21st century Earth from Galifrey I don't know
