I'd guess there was no malicious intent by BF, without their loyal customers they would not exist after all.
What is interesting is the amount of sales we have had over the last 3 or 4 months or so. I'm sure last year and earlier a 'sale' was a bit of a special event for us lot! For their business model I think they have sussed that they get a good injection of cash with each offer to supplement their steady income from subscriptions and pre-orders.
And for us we get to buy things cheaper!

I already have everything from this sale, but since I only have the CDs of Eight's 1-50 MR titles I picked up the downloads. The price on that bundle is a really good deal, especially considering the quality of many of those stories. I was going to do the same but the discount code doesn't work on those titles.

Look for the Eight Doctor 1-50 bundle. The discount is built into the price of the bundle. It was $15 U.S.

I'll have a look. I've got a couple already but it could still be worth doing. Edit: and bought. Even though I only needed 8 it still worked out cheap enough for me to finally add the download to my existing CDs

As I haven't got them yet, I'd be tempted to get 'Dark Eyes 1' or the Mary Shelly trilogy, but (sadly) I don't think I really have the money to at the minute...
But hey, maybe if they do a 'birthday sale' for him again...?

I already own all the Eighth Doctor releases on sale anyway... So do I (bar short trips), but not all of them are shiny CD's that I can geekily place on the shelf and stare at, very tempted to upgrade my EDA's S3+4 to CD...

I'm not. I don't have room for all those CDs, and shipping is expensive.

I'm UK based so shipping/postage costs aren't much of a issue, I don't have that many CD's (compared to some on this forum at least ) and generally only stick to a couple of Doctors/ranges...but if future sales continue to be as tempting it may prove a problem (though I'm not sure I could call owning too many Bf CD's a problem )

I don't even have a space to store all the CD only releases I own. Not to mention the BF books! I have several three or 4 large cardboard boxes under my computer desk with all that stuff stored in the boxes.

I've often wondered if any of BF's staff have actually managed to read/listened to all their releases, and I'd love to see a photograph of the complete collection...

I've only seen pictures of BF customers' collections - here and in the BF Listeners FB group.
