They may yet, we have no idea when the adjustment will take place. How many years were they saying we’d get a new website before it actually happened?

I wish they would hurry up and let us know what the plan is next year. My sub finishes on 270, if I want to Sub to the end, to have a complete collection of extras, I'll need to buy 270 again. I cant sub from 271 (I tried and computer says no), I wrote in and asked to by a 12 month sub, but generic response about they cant update the website until they are told to, so be patient.
Fingers crossed in some form it continues, I'm sure I read once they need subscription revenue to keep going.

Is Sylvester still stranded in France? If he is that could certainly be affecting their plans.
I know Peter Davison is recording - he narrated the Yorkshire Vet series that is currently on TV because Christopher Timothy, who usually does them, was self isolating and the producers of that could get him set up for home recording.
Does anyone know if Colin Baker is recording?

The MR was the reason I got into BF and have subscriptions on and off to it for the past 20 years. I've managed to get most of the releases in some form or another and enjoy the range immensely.
Whether the radio silence is due to the current situation or not, but I do feel as if the focus has drifted a bit on this range in recent years/months. Whilst I agree that BF need to develop new mediums and approaches, whether it should be at the expense of the MR or not is questionable. I would have thought continuing to 300 would have been an ideal marker and then announced a different approach. Whilst I know the original actors are ageing and the inevitable will happen, there's plenty of life left in these incarnations.
Possibly breaking out of the trilogy format is a better idea or having a box set like the 4DA would help. However, I've found the range hit and miss recently. I end up writing off at least 1 trilogy (usually the McCoy one) and some of the solo releases don't always work (the Hopkins trilogy was uneven). I do not want to be overtly critical as I really love BF, but I do think the MR needs to be reinvigorated a bit with more focus. It can be done - the last 5th Doctor Trilogy was amazing and a real highlight...

Interesting. Not unexpected. I'm very curious to see how the new approach works.

www.bigfinish.com/news/v/new-doctor-who-audios-revealedAn anthology for Five in solo in July, the second part of the trilogy in August with the companions facing the Slitheen, and the return of Hex in September. Interestingly, the 2 other Fifth Doctor iniatilly planned for September and October have been postponed to 2021, most likely due to the Covid outbreak. Edit : Dang, too slow. Not that keen on a Fifth Doctor solo outing but the one with his companions facing the Slitheen sounds positively cool and I can't wait for Hex's return in September. It's been really nice to have him back almost every year since 2017.

I think they all sound great. And a posthumous release from Tommy Donbavand too.
I might be being a bit thick, but I struggled to understand the bit about Thin Time / Madquake. Will Thin Time be solely the companions and Madquake be solely the Doctor? Then they reunite at the end and lead into The Lost Resort and Perils & Nightmares next year? Or is Thin Time two intertwining stories and Madquake is all of them together again? I must say, a story dedicated entirely to the companions appeals, if that’s the case. I also love the Fifth Doctor on his own too. They’re a great TARDIS team so I’m glad they’re going to have a substantial enough era.
Lots of great and varied writers Involved across all of the released announced.

Really looking forward to the 5th doctor releases, although it's a shame the 2nd half is postponed it's completely understandable. Excited to see some Slitheen too, as I loved them as a kid.

Well there's a couple of surprises
Something about Tegan Vs Slitheen I find oddly appealing
More from "Oh My G**" too

Thanks for taking out the time to respond; I think it’s a great idea to give the companions their own story with no Doctor. Looking forward to the Slitheen too.
