On the grounds of what's now available as recovered episodes and animations, yes I'm expecting S4 very soon too. We urgently need a Troughton season to balance the cosmic forces on my Collection shelf. ('Aha! - All waiting for me were you?' )
But from the tweets Mark helpfully keeps us up to date with, I think a few seasons have been in preparation and somehow I think this one might be more modern, with loads of available background material. Time will tell...
"'The little fellow' is perfecrtly alright, thank you!"
It will indeed. I just have this nagging feeling ... we'll see what happens.
Whatever is released, I'll be very happy. I'm still knee-deep in Season 15 and enjoying it very much.
I'm still resisting the temptation to even pull off the shrink-wrap until I can really give it the time it deserves!

Oh, absolutely! Since we haven't even got anything related to Season 20 announced here in Aus, I've been importing everything since that box set. I've mentioned it before, but I use Rarewaves and can strongly recommend them. Although they don't have tracked shipping (which is annoying), they've otherwise been great to buy through. Well, except for the delivery of this set. I moved house a few weeks ago and informed them of that fact before this set was shipped. It still arrived at my old address... I've got the Celestial Toymaker pre-ordered through them, so I think I'll be doublechecking whether they've actually changed the shipping address for that one!

For Aus fans, I've made an interesting discovery - an online listing for Season 15, due for release on June 19th (with UK-style packaging pictured). This is interesting in two ways: 1) Who-rays seem to be happening again in Aus after quite some delay; and 2) They've skipped Season 20!!! The price point is also about double what they used to be (it's up at $150 now, although this site general has higher prices). That’s interesting to me. The fact that we got inferior packaging in Aus is why I started importing (and then all the other problems emerged and sealed the deal). I’ve not bought any of these locally - bar one, when I thought I had missed the boat on series 10.

That’s less than the RRP they tag the sets for, which is about £85, and on par with the independent retailer prices, such as Galaxy 4, who charge £70. Not as good as the mass retailers, unfortunately at £55, but preferable enough to the standard packaging to warrant the extra? Not sure what Rarewaves charge including delivery, but could be cheaper to import.

And with two-week delivery on almost every item I've bought through them, it's much better than the three-month later, WAY more expensive local release.

The Graham Williams documentary is beautiful and very moving - a great tribute to a producer that gets overlooked (IMO).

Excellent! His long interviews are highlights of the Collection sets for me. (Some more BF scripts would also be good, they were always unusual and memorable stories. Loved the J&L episodes!)

I've been watching S7 on iPlayer and commented recently that 'Spearhead From Space' seemed to me to look even better than on the excellent blu-ray release, and speculated (groundlessly, but hey we're fans aren't we so it's allowed! ) that maybe, just maybe, this was a new reprocessing ahead of a S7 Collection release.
I finished watching 'The Ambassadors of Death' yesterday and... on the DVD release the middle episode (is it 3 or 4) and the sequence where Liz is running across the weir at Marlow looked like it had been the most challenging part of all for the restoration. Now seen on iPlayer, I'm convinced it looked a lot better, richer colours in particular. It's a wonderfully atmospheric, slightly misty winter landscape like all of them in 'Ambassadors' so it's hard to be sure, but again, I wonder...
And that ends my unfounded speculation for today. If you're in the UK and want to see want you think, well, it's there on iPlayer...

Partly because I'm watching it on iPlayer at the moment and have ideas that some of the episodes look sharper and with richer colours than I've ever seen them, partly because I'd like another Third Doctor set and partly because that orange on the right just says 'Inferno title sequence' to me.
