I wonder if Big Finish managed to get some Jago & Litefoot promo material into the bonus features lol Well they managed to shoehorn India Fisher and some extracts from their Lost Stories range in the previous box set, that wouldn't be surprising at all if it were the case.

Shouldn't be long before an official announcement now, if this exists. That's just stunning. Can I tip Lee Binding somehow if this is legit? That's just gorgeous. Announcement tomorrow? The season I wanted most on blu. And I'm really happy they are leading with Talons on the cover. Cultural warts and all it still sums up the Baker era best to me.

A nice shot of the artwork faceon, with the removable j-card at the bottom:

One of the show's best seasons. Can't wait to see the extras they have for us!

Ordered. A great season with some iconic characters. The only story I don't like in this is The Deadly Assassin. But I wonder if they will address the yellowface in Talons?

That's a work of art in itself. Pre-ordered from the link provided above as I was reading the thread. Very nice indeed. And the episodes themselves aint half bad either...

Slightly behind the rest of the world at the moment, Australia's release date for Season 26 is going to be the 11th of March

I've missed something somewhere along the line - are the contents of the UK releases different from what's on the North American sets? I've been getting the ones that are produced here. They come in standard packaging rather than the big box ( example), but apart from the stupid naming scheme they went with for Region A, I was under the impression that content-wise, they're the same? Ordered. A great season with some iconic characters. The only story I don't like in this is The Deadly Assassin. But I wonder if they will address the yellowface in Talons?Yeahhhhh I was wondering about the same thing. Talons is fun, and our intro to the wonderful J&L, so it's a shame it's marred by such blatant racism. Slightly behind the rest of the world at the moment, Australia's release date for Season 26 is going to be the 11th of March You're just a bit ahead of us in North America! Season 26 (or "Sylvester McCoy: Complete Season Three" blah) is out on March 24, last I checked.

I just prefer the UK packaging and getting them earlier than the US releases! Plus, I don't want to run the chance of the US releases getting discontinued due to lack of sales. I figured the UK releases would be a safer bet.

I was just talking to Audio Watchdog about it last night, he does the same - the really thick booklets with all of Peter McTighe's great copy and the stunning artwork throughout, as well as getting it 3 months early, were the same kinda reasons he was saying for not even considering the Region A ones - and no doubt will when he pops in later!

'Choose a card - any of your cards. Now, if the gentleman known as "13" will move it carefully between my reaching hands and...' (sudden flash, puff of smoke, gong clangs) '£39.99 has vanished from the gentleman's card, before your eyes!' (applause)
'You have it up your sleeve!' 'Not so, Mr. Sin! The most valuable money is now floating in the cloud... and on April 20th it will reappear at the gentleman's house - transformed into the greatest Doctor Who season of all time!!'
(orchestral 'sting', audience gasps, thunderous applause, curtain falls)

Straight in at the #1 selling bluray on Amazon.co.uk - dethroning Joker, IT Part 2 (what's with the clowns), Rambo and erm...Downton Abbey The Movie. Oh, and something called A Star War.
