That Rambo is a DLC fighter in the latest Mortal Kombat game. Do people just forget that Rambo is meant to be a shell shocked war veteran for whom the war never ended? Rather than just another unstoppable action hero? Maybe it’s just a matter of poor taste in my eyes but it just seems rather off to me to have him beat the likes of inter dimensional gods to death with his bare hands. You are right on all accounts, but I think the Rambo movies lost sight of that important detail the moment they altered the ending of the first film so it could be a franchise.

Money does talk after all. Still think it would have made more sense to just throw another slasher villain in there. Or the Toxic Avenger. I doubt he’s doing much for work these days.

Rambo was a very, very strange choice. I'd have thought they'd get more DC characters or Freddy and/or Jason, that Pinhead guy. The more heinous the better. Bright spot, though, they recently coded alternate skins for Raiden, Johnny Cage, and Sonya that use the likeness and vocal talents of the film actors (1995). Hearing Lambert revisit the thunder god is pretty sweet.

Personally, I’d have thought that someone such as Lobo would have worked well for Mortal Kombat. A much better fit for that than Injustice.

That my taste in comedy have changed and I now find Jim Carrey’s movies (with a few exceptions) more irritating then endearing.
Bit sad really but such is life.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

That one of my cousins is taking a joint Chemistry with Psychology degree come next year.
I don’t want to panic anyone but I’m pretty sure this means I’m related to The Scarecrow.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=PBSU0JYwIvoThat Worzel Gummidge once did his bit in promoting the message of Stranger Danger. Honestly, the things one finds on the Internet when you can’t sleep.

That today was the thirtieth anniversary of the first episode of The Brittas Empire.
I honestly forgot that, that sitcom even existed until I stumbled upon that piece of news. Not even sure it has been repeated since it finished, has it?

Not even sure it has been repeated since it finished, has it? I did a rewatch when Eureka released the boxset and man..that show is SO much darker than your average sitcom. Kids and pensioners galore get killed off. If it came out a decade later it'd be a BBC3 Dark COmedy a la Nighty Night. Chris Barrie WAS the 90s on UK TV for me. Rimmer and Brittas. Amazing stuff.

And yet it’s still probably one of the more family friendly sitcoms out there. From what I can remember of it, all the violence and deaths were mainly along the lines of what you would get in an old Warner Bros cartoon. I’ll definitely have to revisit it sometime just to see if it’s held up at all.

Hello again.
Just read the same article before coming to this thread. Sacha Dhawan is such a talent, mental illness effects so many and as Sacha says it's still seen as a weakness. Men particularly regard it as something to dismiss and ignore. The more people in the public eye tell their stories the more the stigma will decrease. I really enjoyed his interpreation of the Master. I hope he returns in series 13. Thanks for pointing out this article, Johnhurtdoctor.
