Well, I went ahead and bought the bundle, intending it as a gift. I'll probably listen to the sets myself eventually, but I'd still appreciate any input from y'all regarding these stories' suitability as a gift. Any content issues to be aware of? Overall how would y'all rate the range? Is this Big Finish at their best, or on autopilot? Would these sets be a good entry point for someone unfamiliar with the audio drama format?
And on a more personal note, I see Louise Jameson wrote ATA 2.2: how do y'all feel about her as a writer? I'm a big fan of her performances, but I've seldom found many people in entertainment to be equally effective in multiple roles....
I've compiled all of my Big Finishes purchases into a single massive document, alongside those on my wishlist (bolded, right-justified). Check it out to see what I've already listened to (or soon will), or to recommend me something new to listen to!
Apologies in perpetuity for my many typos (FUAC) and poor memory.

I notice that next week Royal Mail will issue a series of 14 stamps "Unsung Heroes:Women of World War II" including a set of 4 on the ATA "Pilots Meet In Their Ferry Pool Briefing Room" "Pilot Climbing Into The Cockpit Of A Supermarine Spitfire" "Pilot Completing Her Post-Flight Paperwork In A Lockheed Hudson" "Pilots of the No 5 Ferry Pool Disembarking From An Avro Anson"
