WOW - Avengers 3 was awesome. I haven't seen/heard a movie crowd that loud with claps, cheers and gasps of shock since I saw the Saturday afternoon 1984 session of the original Karate Kid movie (I am old LOL). There were 3 separate people that yelled "NO!" when the end credits started HAHA.. The mid credits scene (there is only 1) was so worth it.
As to the plot (no spoilers) it's a full on emotional roller coaster ride. It took me back to 1982 when I started reading comics. I am curious as to how the next batch of sequels will go after the events of this movie..

Benedict Cumberbatch went home that day & said to his wife, that guy who voices Groot wanted a photo with me today what a nice chap he is. You made my day Shane, i cannot wait until tomorrow afternoon.

Please use spoiler tags for spoilers until the film has been released worldwide. {Spoiler}The biggest shock was when Peter was being killed by Thanos's pupulation purge. He was broken down, saying he wasn't feeling well and begging to Tony, who was helpless to do anything but watch. Peter was a kid who Tony was responsible for being on Titan in the first place, and having just fought and lost a battle on alien soil. If Aunt May survived the purge, she would be worrying not only if Peter also survived, but where he was, as she presumably knows about him being Spider-Man at this point. That really brings home the consequences.
The next two films before the next Avengers one are really clever with their chronological placements, meaning the follow-up to this (release scheduled for this time next year) is likely the next film chronologically. Ant-Man and the Wasp is set after Civil War (so 2016) and Captain Marvel is set in the 90's. That means there's still time for the resurrections of at least Peter (for the Homecoming sequel) and Gamora (for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3).
Speaking of Avengers 4, could we be seeing Nova? Fury's last action was to send a message to someone represented by the symbol for the Nova Corps. This also means not only has Fury made contact with the Nova Corps, or at least one member of it, but he's also earned enough of their trust to call upon them in an emergency. Maybe Phase 4 (only Guardians Vol. 3 and Spider-Man Homecoming 2 are confirmed so far, the former with a tentative 2020 release and the latter scheduled for July 2019) will explore more cosmic Marvel, and storylines like Annihilation that gave more prominence to cosmic Marvel about ten years ago (including what we know of the current MCU Guardians line-up).

Hulk spoilers {Spoiler} That whole thing with the Hulk refusing to come out was never resolved, and it looks like we'll be waiting for next year for that. Was it because of the beat down Thanos pulled on Hulk, the first time Hulk had not only suffered such a distinct loss but also forced to retreat?

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

LOL It’ll be called {Spoiler} Heroes Reborn, and we’ll discover that they’re not dead, just shunted into the Negative Zone. Given the story it's based on, and the climactic event of the movie that was spoiled for me by an alleged "friend" I'm hoping they'll go back to basics and call it {Spoiler} Infinity Gauntlet

BE CAREFUL.. I just saw an interview with Mark Ruffalo and Don Cheadle and Mark literally blurts out the ending- this doesn't look like a staged "bit" I think this was a fair dinkum legit stuff up.. Dude can't keep a spoiler to himself far out LOL!

I really enjoyed it! Some points in the spoiler tag... {Spoiler} I wasn't all that shocked by the ending, given that it was the popular theory, and that the next two MCU films before the IW sequel are set before IW. Have to say though, Peter saying "I don't want to go" got me far more choked up than when Ten said it. As tough as it was seeing some favourites being killed off, we all know most, if not all, of this is going to be reversed by the end of the next film.
The Red Skull appearance was a nice surprise. As was the appearances by Fury and Hill in the post-credit scene - and let's be honest, we already know who Fury was contacting.
If there's one thing that still bugs me, it's that considering this is the tenth anniversary of the MCU (it even makes a point of it in the Marvel logo at the beginning), there's still no appearances/references to the extended MCU. If anything, the "snap" scene would have been the perfect way to include some of the characters from the shows, especially given how this is all going to be reversed, so it's easy to explain away. It's just a shame how it's apparently "all connected" yet the TV side gets ignored all the time.
But, yeah, those are my main thoughts right now. A LOT happened in that film, so I feel like it's going to take another viewing for some of the things to properly sink in, but I really enjoyed it. It felt long, but not in a sense that it was boring, but more in the fact that so much was going on that it felt like some big epic journey.

Overall a epic entertaining Marvel movie, there was a few nitpicks i have but on the whole this delivered a spectacle of blistering action sequences but at the core emotional story arcs.
Josh Brolin as Thanos stole the show what a amazing performance.
I rate it 8/10

Sam Jackson's in her movie so I doubt it could be anyone but her.

I think there was quite a falling out between Feige and the TV execs which is why SHIELD barely crosses over at all now. Maybe for the best given their awful cleaning up the mess from The Dark World ep.

I did indeed see this and though I stand by my thoughts that this will be the apex of the MCU, it's a really strong entry.
Glad to see not everyone came back so the overcrowding problem was solved by one line of exposition for some major characters. Also putting them into groups let you streamline their stories. You could still lose guys like Winter Soldier and War Machine though, they do nothing.
The Russos did an excellent job of meshing the worlds of the different films. None felt clunky or out of place. They have an ear for each of the characters though Favreau and Gunn's roles as exec producers make me think it was perhaps more a team effort than Joss Weddon's Avengers films were.
More spoilery stuff later but I think we should give folks the weekend to see it before getting too into it.

Maybe for the best given their awful cleaning up the mess from The Dark World ep. Admittedly, yeah, that crossover with The Dark World ep was one of the more awful episodes of the show. I've been hearing that rumour about Feige for years, but I think the reason that SHIELD doesn't have much crossover with the movies is that the show is doing its own thing, and doesn't really need to be defined by the rest of the MCU, aside from the odd references that link more directly with the show (Peggy's death being mentioned, Sokovia Accords, etc.). As a celebration of the MCU, it's still a shame that they couldn't have very brief references/appearances from the TV side of things. Still, the film was good regardless.
