We've had one! Warzone/Conversion. And it was... excellent! Got to say though....this one is better I didn’t think we had enough stories with Marc to make a real impact on me personally but am a pretty emotionless individual anyway. I think people protest to much about conversion didn’t do me any harm I agree... However, I think the idea is that the Fifth Doctor is supposed to be feeling guilt about Adric - hence the placement of the Marc stories as late in Season 19 (before Timeflight as Tegan has not been abandoned). So the idea is that the Doctor ends up taking Marc on a series of adventures, but leads him to ruin at the hands of the Cybermen (again). The warnings in Tartarus and the end scene in particular with the Fifth Doctor returning to Cicero are supposed to echo the doom - the changing of releases due to the pandemic have probably scuppered this somewhat, but the arc will eventually become clear. |
