Nice! I wonder if Josh Bolt will be a companion of River and / or The Doctor? He was very good as the companion figure opposite The War Doctor in Agents of Chaos, I thought.
Really looking forward to this release; can’t wait for more information and a trailer. Do we know how many episodes the Doctor will feature in?

Oh, I love it. Nicely acknowledges the Fourth Doctor era and limitations of the original series budget, but also the ambition and the bringing together of Four and River.
Seriously, God, I do love these new cinematic covers. The old covers were great, but God, this is a whole new level.

I believe Dorney said that the Doctor likely wouldn't feature in every episode of this set (It may have been over on the Series 5 thread, a think a few posts may or may not have been lost in the thread mergings that happened over there)

We’ve had a variety in the previous three sets, so it could be different again in S4. Series 1: one episode, they don’t meet Series 2: three episodes, one Seven, one Six and a multi-Doctor Series 3: three episodes, two of which are essentially cameos from memory A couple of episodes from Tom would be delightful, particularly if they’re the middle two and he just drops into the story and then back out. I suspect he’ll just be in the one episode, though. And, who knows, it might be standalone! I did have an idea where River could meet the Fourth Doctor in each story of the set, but in a distinctly different part of his era each time. Season 12, post-Deadly Assassin, post-Invasion of Time and Season 18. That would be interesting, but I suspect getting Tom for the full set would be a nightmare, and it is River’s series, after all. I’m pleasantly surprised that we’re getting stuff with Tom and River; I thought it’d never happen when the first couple of sets were announced.

Eh, by all accounts, I think the time of difficult Tom Baker has well and truly passed. He was heavily delighted and enrapted by doing a story that drew elements from the revival in Night of the Vastda Narda....He was also willing to do the full sprint of the Lost Stories and Phillip Hinchcliffe releases as well.

Yes, it seems like these days Tom will do any script they put in front of him.

I really would like to see some more details on this although I guessing everything hasn't been recorded yet for it.

All seems a bit chaotic at the moment... I don't think it is any more or less chaotic than usual. They have a policy of not releasing information until everything is recorded and actor's schedules make scheduling something of an art form. I wasn't complaining really. Just ready to have more info.

Well we know that the story or stories with Tom have been recorded as we have had the promo picture of them together. It is strange that we don’t have any other details like writers, titles etc. With the 4DA series 7 second boxset we had all the details of three of the stories released before they had recorded the Dan Starkey penned episode.

Franz Kafka in a story certainly gets my attention.

Disappointed, but it’s only a month, so not the worst delay in the world!

There’s brilliant coverage of this set in the latest Vortex. Sounds like a lot of fun and I love the last photo of Tom and Alex!
