That reminds me that I have never been IN actual Salzburg... only drive through it when I travel home on the train (the views from the train of the castle and the mountains are great!).
Nah, not sure they will translate any of the classic Doctor stories to German. Nobody (except I guess the "Worshipers of Xoanon", the official German fanclub) knows any classic Who over here. It never really played on our TVs and I only became aware of Doctor Who when I was in NZ (although they have started veeeery slowly to publish the dubbed classic episodes on DVD). I think they only did the 10th Doctor audioplays because that was on TV here and people love Tennant. But they had quite a problem with these particular audio plays because the actor who dubbed (everything gets dubbed in Germany, it is a plague) Tennant for Doctor Who had died 2 years ago in a car crash and so they had to use a different actor and people did not like "the new voice". I think the German 10th Doctor audioplays were not very successful here, this is why you can already get them for free on Spotify.
Beat you to Salzburg then ๐ How interesting well we shall see how well the BF ones sell

Beat you to Salzburg then ๐ Most people beat me to most places around Europe. I think I have seen more of NZ and Australia than of my own (and neighbouring) countries....

least with the Krampus story you will have the setting ....I love Omega Factor because I can better imagine it being in the cities it is set.Adds that little bit extra. I bet these will be the next set translated into German. That reminds me that I have never been IN actual Salzburg... only drive through it when I travel home on the train (the views from the train of the castle and the mountains are great!).

Yes but everyone enjoys "Dinner for one" at christmas Isn't that the weirdest thing? Nobody knows why that is. It is not even that funny. But it runs on EVERY single TV station on New Years Eve. Similarily, in the 90s, David Hasselhoff and his songs also were the most favorite in Germany and top of the charts when they were not that successful elsewhere.
Sometimes we can be really weird.

Perhaps you should save theKrampus tales and spend the day inSalzburg

My Ravenous Playlist
Escape From Kaldor
(EastEnders theme/ 2001 Soundtrack*)
Watch Out and Fairytale
(I Wish it could be Xmas... and Fairy Tale of New York*)
Seizure
(Tubular Bells/ Thriller*)
*= End on a AGGH!
Standard Great stuff all round "Krampus" made a stronger impression on me than the Ravenous did but sill intriguing and roll on next year.

We have German friends (Dad was in the police and we did a town-twinning thing in the 1980s) and they introduced it to us. Then, bizarrely, I found a DVD copy at a charity shop a few months ago - I'm saving it to launch on the family this New Year!
