Well, after 3,5 years of avoiding it, I finally have my first personal encounter with COVID. I did give my seminar talk on Saturday, and all was fine, but then Saturday night it hit me like a bus and since Saturday night, I had intense joint pain and the shakes. No fever, only mild sniffles and a bit of cough, but the pain was something else. I could hardly move. At least today I feel a bit better and the pain is mainly gone. Hope I can get back to work by end of the week, since we are understaffed and I do not want to let down my team.

You aren't letting anyone down by being ill. Get well soon.

Can’t really blame the BBC here. Impossible to negotiate with a brick wall.

Can’t really blame the BBC here. Impossible to negotiate with a brick wall. Wrong. There are legal issues here about copyright & ownership claims. The BBC should have cleared all this up one way or the other years ago.

Well, Mr Coburn has announced that in the event of his demise, ownership of "An Unearthly Child" will pass to the Russian Federation.

Welome to Australian Spring time.. Driving Junior home from after school care- I noticed a big fat juicy redback spider on the passenger side window (outside).
Unlocking the front screen door to get inside our house.. a big fat juicy redback spider at the corner of the door..
Rushed junior in.. Got the bug spray and a mini broom- did what I needed to do, sprayed all over my car after wiping it down, wiped the door way down and sprayed all over..
These spiders can kill you . We don't take any chances with them.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

So far it’s a lot milder than the first. Staying hydrated is the best advice I can offer.

Just the stuff I have read over the last few days.. wow...

Let's see how that goes down with the BBC legal team!

Been a kinda stunning few days for my channel by my standards - 110 new subs which is 10% increase. The algoeithm works for once in my favour! It's honestly been the one thing thats helped my mental health since losing my twin during lockdown. Feeling alone and missing half of you...not good. Then when over 1,200 people say they want to hear what you have to say (I, legit, beat Nigel Farage's ratings on GB News at one point!) well, it's humbling. If anyone else would like to sub, even if you just watch the odd thing, please do, link below. Davy's Flicks
