At the least, revisit the arc of Ace with Narvin from Intervention Earth. I'm sure there are some BF fans who don't even know that stuff happened, that Ace worked for the CIA and even had her own TARDIS! Then again, Gallifrey has a history of these "well, THAT's exciting for the future...." ideas then never going back - Romana III anyone? Even if that timeline was erased, who wouldn't love Juliet Landau as Romana again? Or Romana IV? |

So something happened at my work in September which Finally got resolved this morning. Every September we have our annual "Rewards & Recognition" night - a celebration .. I couldn't go as I had a double-billed rock concert that night booked months before they announced the date. Happened on a Friday night so I expected my "5 years of Service" award, glass engraved trophy and $$ voucher to be delivered by at least Tuesday.. By the Thursday I questioned it to the head of H.R. Her face turned white when she checked the personnel records and realised she had missed me, and 3 others who had well achieved 5 years.. Basically it took 7 weeks to print up the award certificates, deliver the glass trophy and email the $$ voucher. She asked that we all keep the velvet box the glass trophy came in, as they wants us 4 to go up on the podium next year September 2024 (I will be 1 month shy of my 7 years service by then as I started 1st week of October 2017.. The award is in a plastic cover and up on my "wall of awesome". I currently have 19 various awards so far, and definitely gained weight from all the food they supply LOLZ  |

Still no feeling well due to COVID.
Was caught all day in a nasty brain-fog that made work very difficult- trouble concentrating, not being able to listen to people / communicate and exhaustion.
Had to give some of my work to other people because could not cope with my normal work load.
I did read up on the medical reasons and pathogenesis of the Post-Covid brain fog and I now understand what is going on in my brain and that you can actually see the brain shrinking on CT-scans, but there is a difference of reading a scientific paper and experiencing the thing first hand.
I really hope this improves over the next weeks / months.
Another person of my team is now pregnant, and if I also develop issues, things will collapse.
I will have a very quiet and slow weekend, not doing anything or going anywhere and trying to recover some of my brain cells.
