Got home from work just before 4:30pm yesterday, an old mate of ours came down for a visit about 15 minutes before I got home- we all gasbagged for so long he didn't end up leaving till just before midnight.
I am on 4 hours sleep WOO HOO it was worth it.

Received a direct Personal Threat on my life just over 2 hours ago (seriously). Immediate internal workplace escalation, my Executive Manager immediately kicked into high gear. I messaged wife as she is home with Junior today. NOT made..  |

I'm so happy that on this forum at present, whether we love the topics of discussion, loathe them or find ourselves somewhat ambivalent, we're able to have a nice, polite conversation about it and disagree without descending into conflict. It didn't last 😞😞😞 |

Hopefully I get an update of some sort today - I will read up on my work's Policy on things of this nature.
No doubt I will get called into another meeting today with the head of Risk & Compliance and possibly the Lawyer too. Not letting this go - I will push. The only way for humans to learn is to take away their freedom and/or $.

Someone could always make a discord, wouldn’t be quite the same as here but it’s probably where most of the doctor who “forums” (minus Gallifrey base) happen these days. Evidently nobody and no situation is going to change the opinion of Ella et , and why should it - JHD is their friend. But i don’t think a back and forth for more years to come than has already been the case is really productive for anyone. Things are what they are. Plus, a new space might mean users like Wolfie, if anyone is still in touch with them, might come back. Just my thoughts on it all.

I would have spoken up about a few things earlier, but to be frank, I lack the motivation and have run out of f***s to give.
Some people really need to get a life.
I personally ignore all the BS and move on, especially since my motivation for BF and Who in general has decreased a lot this year due to severe personal issues.
I just do not get a lot of enjoyment out of it at the moment and also consider moving on (with a break from this forum) to be honest.

IMHO it is... the posts that were deleted from this very thread were not against the forum's rules and should have been 'within the lines' (so to speak)... bearing in mind how flexible those lines are these days. Deleting posts is heavy handed, as are immediate bans without a warning given first.
There is nothing wrong with a healthy discussion and nobody has thrown any insults at you, or the other you. The main issue that upset me - and others - this morning is Davy's ban. I see it as an injustice and - again IMHO - I think the mods were wrong and I have said so. I am insulting nobody, it's just my point of view. Just as you have a point of view when you say something is rubbish. Davy shouldn't have been banned for what he would consider as standing up for the forum. So I see nothing wrong in standing up for him.
I like this place, if you do too, respect it.
