Just a reminder that the Big Finish contribution to Time Lord Victorious kicks off tomorrow with the release of the two Master Short Trips. Gonna download and listen to them, first thing in the morning! 😁

That's a surprising release. I really like the cover. Nice to have the Fourth Doctor involved in events. This was actually revealed in Doctor Who Magazine, but was put down as a mistake. I noted it sounded very similar to A Dalek Awakens, but just assumed it was an extended synopsis that was accidentally put down as two separate entries.
I did the World's Collide escape room a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed the experience.

OK now I'm interested in TLV. Just for this one story though.
Oh - and I'm signed up for the Classic Masters' short trips too. What choice did I have? ('You will pre-order me...')

Textless Cover Regards mark687 Really enjoying this recent trend of textless covers being released. BF Artists actually do it quite a lot. Tom Webster is nearly always at the ready post announcement. Regards mark687

Pretty nonplussed on this one; a tie-in to an escape room I’ll never do and combination of Fourth Doctor vs Daleks. which I got earlier this year in Out of Time. Unless reviews are good, I’ll probably skip this one.

I’m hoping this will expand the pool of where A Dalek Awakens is available to play. It’s only in a couple of branches of Escape Hunt; would be nice to have it in all places and perhaps phase out World’s Collide.

Be a bit hard for American overseas audience to participate in the full Time Lord Victorious experience if they’re only available within the UK.

There’s a virtual Doctor Who one, but it isn’t A Dalek Awakens. This isn’t an issue exclusive to oversea fans. You’ll find very few who will do both the escape room and the immersive theatre experience in the UK. It’s not much of an issue really; it has no impact on the Time Lord Victorious story, as that is The Waters of Mars and the two novels.

I played Doctor Who: World’s Collide at the Manchester branch a couple of weeks ago. Due to the nature of an escape room - a group of up to six people - it’s great in current distancing scenarios as you book the room out. A Dalek Awakens is only in the Reading & Bristol branches and can be booked to play now. It’s coming to Norwich & Basingstoke soon.

Tom baker and the Daleks are like buses! Nothing since 2013, then three releases in the course of a year!
