In an ideal world, for me either Vol 2 or 3 would have to be a meet-up between my two favourite Doctors from BF and TV: Sixie and Tim Treloar's Third Doctor!
Would the TARDIS be dimensionally transcendental enough to fit both their egos in at once? I'd love to hear them try...
'My dear chap, she is my TARDIS too so if you could stop arguing and blustering long enough to let me at the console, we might get somewhere!' 'Blustering? ME? I never bluster! And who was the one who got nowhere at all for several years? If Old Pointy-Beard hadn't shown up to make things interesting, you'd have been drinking tea in that lab and ruffling your frills with boredom.' 'My frills? I'll have you know my style was widely admired, so leave my fashion sense out of this. At least until you acquire one.' 'Ha! I've seen 'Adam Adamant' too you know, I know exactly where your fashion sense was acquired. I am an original; multi-hued and multi-talented. And I can steer a TARDIS without the Time Lords to help me.' 'Why you pompous, insufferable...' 'Takes one to know one, old chap! If you won't get your hands off my console I'll just have to make... now then, wait a minute, this is me remember...!' 'Haii!!' [Loud crash]
'Peace at last. Now then old girl, let's see if you still remember me.' [From floor level] 'Ohhhhh....' 'You just have a nice little nap, my dear fellow; at your age you must need one. I'll wake you up when we get there. Peladon, yes, I'm sure I remember the correct coordinates. Well, almost sure. Very probably.'
Where do they end up? Your guess is as good as mine!

I am still hoping that Doctors Four & Ten will appear again.
As I said before I would very much like to hear a story with Doctors Four & Five together.
And now knowing that Six will be appearing I like the idea of pairing two awesome Doctors in the same story. Two Doctors that are polar opposites in several Doctor Who fans personal rankings, but really shouldn’t be. Hopefully such a story will go some way to redress that imbalance.

I know that the casting (at least for the first one) means that it'll sell itself, but I'd still welcome a sneak peek via a trailer. The real world is a bit much these days - I could definitely use a distraction!

It’s not just a trailer, we could do with knowing more about the whole series really. It’s hard to pre-order the bundle when you don’t know anything about the other two releases.
I know that Stranded, Gallifrey, The War Master, etc. are announced with bundles, but you sort of know the cast you’re getting with those. I think Out of Time is a little different.

They might reveal more (also including the missing Time Lord Victorious thing) at next weeks online Big Finish convention. Would be my guess...

I am happy to be proved wrong, but I had expected it to feature just the three actors already associated with the production.

Baffling that the easiest to market piece BF have made...maybe ever is on radio silence. Didn't get a single real mention on BF Day, just an off the cuff comment from Lou that didn't even name it. It's THE Two Doctors, objectively - the king of classics and the numero uno of New Who. And it's a nice cheap single disc, the perfect way to get in newbies. This should be being promoted to the gills - trailer, countdowns, podcast preview, DWM cover, Vortex cover, buying space on the official DW Facebook page as they've done before. I think a meeting this momentus and marketable even merits wider press coverage which BF can't guarantee but press outlets like Digital Spy and Radio Times have published press releases on titles a lot less desireable to a wider audience than Tom and David meeting up in an adventure.
As more than a few of us noticed when it was, as I said, mentioned in passing on BF Day that Tom and David had recorded something, the chat went crazy - they didn't know about it! And that's BF fans! Something is very wrong when that happens.

Something is very wrong when that happens. Completely agree. And even if they kick it into gear in the days before release, which I don’t think they necessarily will, it’ll be late in the day. Already it should’ve had a big mention at Big Finish Day, it should’ve had an article in the latest DWM, the trailer should already be out and the other two releases announced so people can jump on the great bundle price. It’s crackers; even Big Finish’s regularly clumsy articles shouldn’t be able to dampen any news about this! Even their mentions of it on the Big Finish Twitter have been on the back of other things, such as the Tenth Doctor & River covers revealed earlier today, or the compilation of August releases. You just cannot escape the fact that Big Finish customers and fans didn’t know about Out of Time. If the hundreds watching that panel didn’t know, then we can only assume the casual Big Finish fan doesn’t, never mind the hordes of Doctor Who fans out there. The cynic in me thinks we’ll have some quote on a future podcast where they fleetingly mention sales of Out of Time weren’t as good as anticipated. The punchline being that everyone knows the answer but Big Finish.

Something is very wrong when that happens. Agreed, and for that reason it's hard to imagine how BF can top vol 1 - I have bought the bundle as an act of faith in BF but I am expecting vols 2 and 3 will be a slight anti-climax. The cynic in me suspects BF are trying to sell as many bundles as they can on the strength of vol 1 before vols 2 and 3 are announced.
Getting Smith/Capaldi/Ecclestone for their first BF is about the only thing I can think of that could be on a on a par with vol 1 for sheer "Wow!" factor. And it's not beyond the realms of possibility, given that lockdown has meant actors are unable to earn a living plying their trade in the normal way, that Smith and/or Capaldi suddenly became available for BF. So I'm not writing off vols 2 and 3 just yet, and I'm sure I will enjoy them whoever is in them, but I'm not holding my breath for something on a par with Four and Ten meeting.
Six and Twelve would be a fiery combination, well worth a listen, that's for sure!

You know it kinda seems weird that we still haven't gotten any info about 2 and 3 i thought as a bundle they should at least have a logo for the two audios as a wip also why wasn't there at least a month release date instead of TBD surely they shouldn't have announced 2 or 3 until at least the prime recording has been done?

If they do have 6 and 12 paired up they should do it as a musical episode!😀 We know Sixie and 12 can both sing! They could have them conflict with their music styles 6 with his operetta and 12 with his rock!😁

The lack of info makes me wonder if these have even been written yet. I'll make a guess: Volume 2 is Davison and McGann vs. the Sontarans, released June 2021 and Volume 3 is Treloar and Colin vs. Missy, released February 2022.

Does the Marketing department need a more forceful push? Having these 2, the most popular is a sound investment- capitalise on it!
UGH!

I’m slightly surprised to see ‘Vortex cover’ in there... as it was the cover of Vortex. (Likewise another post mentions a DWM article... and there was one. Cover is rather out of BF’s hands!).

I think you know what was meant by a DWM article; a behind the scenes piece with comments from Tom, David, Nick, etc. What we got was something in Gallifrey Guardian that regurgitated the Big Finish news article.
