When does preorder pricing on this end? I’m still without income so I’ve been putting off buying anything until the last possible moments, but don’t want to get dinged by a price increase once the preorder cost goes away...

Ummm.... isn’t the Unbound Doctor’s Davros a rather nice person?

Masters of War gives the Daleks a Curse of Peladon-style makeover that separates the faction on Skaro from another spacefaring group that left to conquer the universe. It's the latter that the Doctor has encountered before in his first and second incarnations. The Skaro-based Daleks seen in Masters are governed more by Social Darwinism and a drive to recover their creator, Davros.

Finished this one today completely and honestly each of the stories were great, if a bit similar in the character work that they all do. Gallifrey was definitely one of those great stories and honestly I love that we don't entirely get an explanation for what's going on so we have more sets to look forward to. Now if only we can get a 7/8 cameo for series 7.

Hey he Must be proud of that ❤️😍the cd....not the hair🤪😉 I am. Most of my Big Finish library is digital (cost and space being the main reasons), but I'm very happy to have a CD copy of this. And, no, I'm not very proud of the hair.

Finished it, initial thoughts are it was OK. Nothing amazing but enjoyable enough, David Warner is great as the 'unbound' Doctor & Lisa Bowerman is of course brilliant as Bernice. It was their banter which really held things together. But I would have preferred more adventures in the unbound Doctor's universe. Plenty of scope there for new twists on familiar monsters etc

I have yet to be disabused of the position that none of the stories told so far needed to be set in Benny’s universe. Sorry. frankly, most would be improved by being in a dying universe.

Just started this set and Have I Told You Lately? is exactly what I hope for from this range. Highly experimental and well realised.

Taken a couple of months, but I’m finally getting around to finishing this set.
The Undying Truth was good. The characters of the Doctor and Benny are excellently depicted, advertising is a unique take on the old “find ancient power” storyline and the twist of what the Undying actually was well done.

Inertia and Gallifrey were satisfying. The Doctor and Benny on fine form, Narvin as his ruthless pre-Gallifrey (the series) self and a generally irreverent tone.

Another box set that was waiting in the 'to be listened to' folder for when I got A Round Tuit. Which is now. 2 down and such fun. The wonderful sparks between the Doctor and Benny are lovely to hear. Just like an old married couple...
