So anyone up to place bets on upcoming writers?
Old Friends’ two parter is likely a Matt Fitton script is if I had to guess so the next four sets are open, but I hope we get brand new writers for the most part, with the following being who I most want to see.
- Una McCormack - Guy Adams and AK Benedict(maybe a two parter?) - Andrew Smith - Lou Morgan - Robert Valentine

I hereby endorse Tim X Atack for another story. Planet of the End knocked my shoes off. Do you think they'll lure Robert Shearman back for one?

I could hope that they could lure Shearman, as that would be lovely. And as much as I am a fan of Tim, who I’ve been able to chat with and am potentially having on my podcast, I really want as many different writers as possible tbh. Also other good choices would be Sarah Grochala, David Llewelyn, Helen Goldwyn and Simon Guerrier

I’d love to see David Llewelyn pen a tale. I’m a big fan of his Dalek stories although I wouldn’t want the Daleks to make an appearance in the Ninth Doctor Adventures.

Shocked, shocked i tell you Also this confirms that bf view boxsets 1-4 as 1 series and these next four as a another series as these are all labeled 2.1 , 2.2 etc Last month's Respond to All Calls is numbered 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 on the CD box set. and Genesis Chamber and Helm of Awe were rolled out as a second series bundle initially. So, they're labeled 2.1 and 2.2 on their disc sets. God of Phantoms is digitally endorsed as Volume 4. There may end up being no Volume 3 on the shelves of CD collectors of Philip Hinchcliffe Presents. Good Grief Respond to All Calls is labelled that way because its stories are essentially 1.2.1, 1.2.2, and 1.2.3, as Ravagers forms 1.1, and Respond to All Calls is 1.2. Series 2 of the 9DAs is to be released as double-jewel cases rather than having individual covers, so I suspect the numbering will just be 1, 2, 3, and 4.

You're a spin doctor. There's a big fat '2' on the spine of the slip case of Respond to All Calls. With better future-proof planning the first series box sets should have been called something like Blue Eyes 1: insert subtitle, Blue Eyes 2: insert subtitle etc.

I had to do 2 separate orders for my twin brother and myself. so that cost us all up (to the nearest whole dollar AUST $722. Out of that $226 is the Postage/Shipping & Handling...

I'd guessed at one. Possibly two if we were lucky.
But four? And we're only halfway through the first set?
Did not see THAT coming.
Kudos then to Big Finish. Not only for commissioning the writers to tell the stories that drew Chris Eccleston into the recording booth, but for creating the working atmosphere that's bought him back for more.😊

Thank you - it was a blast to do. If enough people find these interesting, I may be inclined to do some more like this.

Hello again
So pleased that Mr Ecclestone is enjoying recording stories for Big Finish. I knew that the audio format would be a draw for him and that the quality of the writing would also be a factor.
Not had a chance to hear any yet, maybe at Christmas. The trailers particularly the one for Respond to all Calls are thrilling. Delighted this era of Who is being extended…

So it looks like Billie Piper has changed her mind and is now up for returning to Doctor Who. (Call it the RTD effect?) collider.com/billie-piper-doctor-who-return-comments/I wonder what, if anything, this means about the chances of her appearing in the second lot of box sets?
