Considering the likes of the Mags Trilogy (dreadful as it unfortunately was) and Big Finish’s love of sequels/prequels to pre existing stories, I’m rather surprised we’ve never revisited Ray from Delta and the Bannermen. Maybe she wouldn’t be companion material but it could be interesting seeing an older Ray who has grown beyond simply being a love struck teenager.
Mind you, if she were to become a companion one wonders at which Doctor would best suit her to travel with? The familiar Seventh or someone such as Eighth or even Nine?

The Doctor and their companion discover a deserted genuinely peaceful oasis where they both completely loose all inhibitions and neither want to leave even after just a few hours there.

An artist does a painting or drawing of the Doctor but then somehow it comes to life and tries to replace the real Doctor. I like this idea a lot. It's a tie-in with 'Dorian Gray' just waiting to happen!
Of course with Dorian, the picture ages as he doesn't and shows his evil side. It's not really alive.
But the Doctor is a Time Lord so he has more than one 'life' and the living picture which captures his evil side and ultimate aging - 'somewhere around his last regeneration' - becomes... The Valeyard! So that's his origin!

A Doctor Who story where the Doctor lands in a town that is a parody of the Beano/Dandy and has to deal with its strange and often unruly inhabitants.

The Doctor and companion(s) get completely snowed in over night either in the TARDIS (which can’t move for some reason) or the companion’s home and the rest of the story is surprisingly low key with them just having cosy bonding time and a sleepover drinking hot chocolate, watching movies (that the companion has to explain to the Doctor, playing board games, pranking each other, telling scary stories, building elaborate pillow forts and having slightly awkward but nice heart to heart(s). We also discover that the Doctor wears novelty footy pajamas!

A story where the descendants of Zaroff’s Fish People who worship the late professor as a deity ultimately come into conflict with humanity during the Cold War. Taking Zaroff’s mad dream of world destruction as religious doctrine, they have begun attacking ships and even submarines.
Would be interesting if the Doctor thought at first that this was the work of the Sea Devils only to be proved wrong.

The Doctor suddenly gets a lot more attention of a certain kind suddenly and gets overwhelmed.

We’ve had the Doctor meet Houdini so why not a story where the Doctor and Co have to investigate sinister going ons within the famous and notoriously secretive Magic Circle?

This would be for when BF gets Capaldi, but 12 using his guitar to heal someone by playing music for them.

Off the top of my head, a waveform being from an audio dimension (perhaps the same species as in Criss-Cross), fractured or injured, or maybe trapped possessing an unlucky human... The right song might work wonders.

Indeed. Music is said to be the universal language after all. I know I say this a lot but when BF should really explore 12’s musician side and how he could use his music to help people! Having a musician as a companion seems an ideal fit for Big Finish to be honest. If only to make the most of their sound design. In fact, I know Titan Comics used him recently for their Eleventh Doctor run but someone such as blues musician Robert Johnson could be a good fit.
