Only 5 hours of Daleks. The other four hours have Davros and the Daleks so that will be completely different.
Come on people, show some faith and some optimism! This is going to be a BIG thing for BF and they're obviously going to pull out all the stops to make sure it lives up to the billing. Just show me the pre-order link someone. It's working now
Thanks! (Oh yes, a full four story bundle, perfect!)

If It is 8 and half hours expect trouble 😂 Only 5 hours of Daleks. The other four hours have Davros and the Daleks so that will be completely different.

Jane Slavin/A.K. co-stars in Tom S8 and it's my equal favourite BF 4th Doctor series with S9, so I'm thrilled they have found a way to bring her back into the Doctor's lives.
Just show me the pre-order link someone. EDIT: Link is live. Lovely, full bundle with the Tom prologue, yes please Am always optimistic....the title THE ETERNAL REST OF THE DALEKS cheered me up no end 🤪

I get that the Daleks have got a lot of airtime recently, but to be fair, this release seems to be doing something different with them - we're getting a nice inverse of Shadow of the Daleks here really. In fact, this series is pulling from a lot of the Dalek lore that Big Finish doesn't really use a lot - Movellans, Mechanoids, even Davros isn't used by Big Finish that often (yes, he's in a release that's literally coming out tomorrow, I'm aware).

Poor Ten, his Specials year is absolutely dominated by the Daleks. No wonder he ended up having a farewell tour!
At least 16 stories recorded with David during lockdown is absolutely amazing. I think the premise is a little unfortunate, given Time Lord Victorious, but I’m looking forward to it. I like Anya and I like that Big Finish have been able to do pretty much a full new series with David.
I think after four series of the Tenth Doctor Adventures, if you include the upcoming River set, they’re allowed to be a little indulgent with what they do. And the Dalek lore is surprisingly untapped, I’m quite excited to pair that with the post-2005 run of the show.
Oh and a Fourth Doctor prequel is lovely. Hasn’t The Dalek Protocol been known about for a while? That’s some planning by Big Finish, unless the connection is tenuous and this is a repurposed 4DA, like Shadow of the Sun.

You know, I hadn’t realised that regarding Davros. Never really dawned on me that he has had very few appearances over the years.

Great trailer, but 9 hours of Daleks. Not for me sorry. I mean, as ever, maybe find out a bit more? It really isn’t. I am offering my opinion on what has been revealed so far, as others have done here in this thread. I obviously know not ever single minute of these 9 hours is going to have daleks in but the thrust of this release is Doctor Who v Daleks, hence the title.

I refer the honourable gentleman to my previous answer. Don’t get me wrong, it’s perfectly legitimate to offer an opinion on what is revealed so far (a trailer and a title) and say ‘if this is 9 hours of Daleks then I’m out’ (with the emphasis on the ‘if’). But I might know a little about what the thrust of this release actually is, and it isn’t what you say.

Makes sense as Tom has already recorded his lines for The 60th Makes we wonder if Eccleston will do the same

I tend to be full to the eyestalk with anticipatory enthusiasm and then enjoy and praise almost everything BF I listen to. I'm not sure which gets on the nerves of the forum most but at least it gives balance.

Yesssss!
As a massive DT and 10th Doctor fan I am extremely excited for this! I just wish I could afford to pre-order it right now.
When we originally heard the Nick was working on Dalek Universe I automatically thought that it was going to be part of the Dalek Empire range. When I first saw this announcement (before I watched the trailer or read anything) all I could think was, "Doctor, you sound awfully like that guy Galanar!" He he he.
