I remember you looking for it back when I found my copy. About 8-9 months ago. I got it for like 80 I think, and that was with haggling down the seller. I may or may not have lost some dignity but it's a physical copy of Lungbarrow.

Thriftbooks' website is where I found So Vile a Sin, the trouble with that one isn't that it's the most expensive (I've seen it mostly for $60-80), but it rarely goes on sale because it isn't a big name novel which is a real shame, Aaronovitch and Orman as a pair of writers is just too brilliant to pass up.

Today I ordered an adorable 12/Clara Whoffaldi shirt 😊 I am excited didn’t have a shirt with 12 and Clara on it yet!😃 I can’t take the cuteness of the design with them making hearts with their hands together!😍 I imagine wearing it will be very comforting 😊 It’s the little things in life that cheer me up these days 😊 www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/4422930-whouffaldi-hearts

This kind of stuff amuses me - Do you like the TARDIS? Here's a generic pen!

This kind of stuff amuses me - Do you like the TARDIS? Here's a generic pen! The thing is, the 'prop' in question was subject to some debate when it came up for sale a while back. Jennie Linden did indeed sign inside it and dubious claims were indeed made that it was somehow the Cushing Tardis, despite its dimensions being all wrong. Speculation was that it may have been the prop from 'The Ultimate Adventure', and whilst it does bear some close resemblance to that prop (second image below), the measurements are still quite different when studied closely. There seems a case to be had that it was based on the 'Ultimate Adventure' prop and perhaps used in some Fan Based Am Dram staging. Whatever the facts, it seems similar to those fan built wonky plywood Daleks that turn up in regional auction houses as 'TV Dalek' props now and again - examples shown for a laugh - though the first one shown was supposedly from the aforementioned Ultimate Adventure and optimistically estimated at £1,500 when auctioned - no info on how much it sold for in the end though.

These weren't purchases but a kind gift I got during my months away from the forum, I had the blurays already but to get the signed G4 versions makes them that bit more special, but not as special as the thought behind it in the first place. White Witch Of Devil's End signed by Damaris Hayman and Sil And The Devil Seeds Of Arobor signed by Nabil Shaban, Sophie Aldred, Christopher Ryan and Keith Barnfeather. The Sil signed insert has the art on the back that was originally going to be the (much better) cover art so I'm very, very happy to have that now in some form.

There's an Amazon list I check at least once a day with three books on it - the last two VNAs I'm missing (Happy Endings & So Vile a Sin) and The Time Travellers, the intriguing alternate-2006 prequel to The War Games, written by the ever-reliable Simon Guerrier.
The Time Travellers finally jumped down in price and I scooped it up. Now my Big Priority List is only two books long!

I followed this online Auction yesterday. 94 lots of Dr Who Collectables & Merchandise. Looks like it was possibly a bereavement clearance, unfortunately. Registering to see the prices realised for each lot proved that the bidders spotted the good stuff in each box, so some boxes went for as much as £560 (Blu-Ray's) I think there must have been £10,000 raised. I would have liked the collection of rare Annuals, but that went for £400, which was still a good catch for whoever got it. The VHS tapes for instance, went for £5 a box, except the one with the 1983 Revenge of the Cybermen and the 1985 Five Doctors, which sold for £100. The box with the rare 1985 60 min edit of Brain of Morbuis fetched £10 so that was a decent buy. Those Big Finish lots were a good purchase if you did not have them. Sadly though, I think most of these lots will have been bought by Traders and will now be sold on for a considerable profit. Reassuring to know though just how much good stuff I have myself, but looking at them all presented like this makes you realise that's all it is really. Just a load of Stuff. www.vectis.co.uk/auction/tv-film-related-sale-817-1?model_typeseriesartist=1740&page=1

Picked up everything currently available (except the Big Finish products) for Time Lord Victorious: DWM issues #556-558 The Doctor Who Annual 2021Both novels ( The Knight, the Fool and the Dead & All Flesh is Grass) Defender of the Daleks omnibus The Minds of Magnox CD The Dalek Emperor & Dalek Drone action figure set If you're looking for options for purchasing, I strongly recommend Forbidden Planet. I haven't got the shipping prices to Australia yet, but the cost of the products (excluding the Annual, which I bought through Amazon) was only AU$130! Any shipping is almost guaranteed to be a saving considering how cheap the products themselves are

Picked up the new Power of the Daleks animation today. We're currently in the middle of Episode 2 and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I'm saving the new clips until afterwards

Picked up a copy of Casualties of War (The Eighth Doctor novel, not War Doctor set). I've been slowly getting back to reading the EDAs/PDAs after a hiatus over the summer

This is excellent. A free, illustrated 400 page e-book about the history of the Blackpool Doctor Who Exhibition, with 80 contributors. I remember staying at Blackpool in 1985 on a late family break (I was 14), and had been really looking forward to visiting it as a highlight of the holiday, more so than being booked to see Eric Sykes, Les Dawson & Tommy Steele at the Theatre & Ballroom over the two nights. We could not find it, and asking a Commissionaire outside the building where it should have been, we were informed that the BBC had only just closed it down, which he thought baffling as it was a 'money spinner' still. It was pretty much blamed on the BBC and the 'resting' of the show at the time. Some great photos and a wealth of articles and interviews. The website gives a background to the book too. Well worth a look. blackpoolremembered7485.wordpress.com/
