Found an absolute bargain - Series 1-3 on Blu-ray (Australian releases) for $75 total! These are out of print and seem to be going for $60/series at the moment, so I'm feeling pretty good today

I’ve just ordered The Secrets of Vault 13 & The Maze of Doom. I know they’re geared at a younger audience, but they’ve got great write ups, sound like a lot of fun and are very nicely priced.
Why did I take the plunge? Well, I mentioned yesterday that I did the World’s Collide Doctor Who escape room and there’s a little cameo from Jodie’s Doctor. Her enthusiasm is so infectious and I’ve not actually dipped into her era since Series 12 ended and her last DWM story wrapped up. It’s funny how these little sparks can lead you onto other things, as they so often do.
It’ll probably be a while before I get round to reading them, but it’s nice to know that they’re there for when I do.
Incidentally, I did buy At Childhood’s End on Kindle for 99p a couple of weeks ago, but I keep forgetting it’s a Thirteenth Doctor story. I just keep picturing it as an Ace novel; I wonder how the marketing affected the sales of that one?

Now all I'm missing is the Tennant specials and Day/ Time of the Doctor and I've got a complete New Series Blu-ray collection! (This is when they announced they're doing New Series versions of the Classic Series Blu-ray Collections )

Found the 50th Anniversary Blu-ray box set (with Name/ Day/ Time, An Adventure in Space and Time, and The Five-ish Doctors Reboot) for just $100 second hand, apparently unplayed! I usually see this going for $250+, so I'm feeling quite pleased with this find Just got to find the Tennant Specials box set and I've got a complete New Who collection...

Ordered this last night, despite promising myself I had enough Vinyl, as it seemed too tempting at £20 postage free. Having bought the Galaxy 4 release last month, I was impressed by the overall quality. Its a long way off the £70 or so that the 6 part tales are retailing for too:

Jealous of anyone who's collecting these!

Not released yet, but I guess this will be a must buy. Hope it is easy enough to come by and not limited stock, during lockdown:

Fury from the Deep! I've been looking forward to this, so hopefully it lives up to expectations Also found 6 New Series Adventures for $6 each in a local second-hand bookshop: The Clockwise Man, The Monsters Inside, The Deviant Strain, Only Human, The Feast of the Drowned, and Big Bang Generation. They're all hardbacks and the 9th/10th Doctor ones even have Billie Piper on the cover, so I've got one of the earlier print runs

Looks as though for UK purchasers, it's out today. For anyone in North America, it will be coming through Diamond Comics, and for Australia... No idea yet. There'll likely be a delay (as there typically is with these sorts of things), but Panini's releases do have a tendency to turn up on Book Depository. Got a moment to decompress at the moment and decided to go through and do an inventory. En route, we've got: [-] The two Doctor Omega Chronicles books from John Peel and Andrew Skilleter. [-] From the chaps that brought you Lytton, we've got Omega (looks as though it's to be set on a pre- Underworld Minyos, shutupbanks ) with full-colour artwork by John Ridgeway (the chap behind the Sixth Doctor's DWM comic adventures). [-] Obverse Books's The Curse of Fanfic, which had me won over with its gleefully toybox premise ( Van der Volk meets Who? Danger Man meets Doomwatch? Time Team meets Sapphire and Steel?). Haven't done one of these in ages. Very much looking forward to what turns up.

I managed to score all of them from "Book Depository" (except some of the 10/Donna era- I need to get onto those ASAP).. I am sure I have all of 11, 12 and 13 to date..

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I was out Christmas shopping and found the 2021 Annual in a bookshop. Since my copy from Amazon still hasn't shipped and it was pretty cheap, I finally picked it up for my Time Lord Victorious set. It doesn't really contain anything that you wouldn't have already known just by looking at the promotional material for the event, but it's still part of the set so I don't mind too much.
