Looking forward to getting stuck into this after reading All Flesh is Grass. Fingers crossed it's delivered tomorrow! I would wait but I don't think I'll be getting my copy until early next year (and I still don't know when I'll be getting my hands the first novel for that matter), so I think I'll pop this one on this evening. The audios are the only real TLV stuff I actually have at the moment, so I might as well make the most of them while the event's still ongoing

Either I'm going deaf quicker than I'd hoped or the volume on this digital download is a tad lower than other releases...

Well who knew we needed catty Daleks and a Smart Alec Doctor. also the Dalek Scientist in Zero G scene Also if this is the end of the 8th Doc's involvement in TLV he's picked up another potential Companion played by one of my Audio crushes Samantha B'eart 5/S Regards mark687

The confirmed order is: Echoes of Extinction He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not The Enemy of My Enemy All Flesh is Grass Mutually Assured Destruction

You can listen to the Eighth Doctor stuff without touching the books, same for reading the Ninth Doctor comic without listening to the audios. The actual story is The Waters of Mars and the two novels; The Knight, The Fool and The Dead & All Flesh is Grass. Everything else is supporting material on how the main players get to the events of the story, and what they do in the aftermath.

Hmm. By now, I think the TLV event might just not be my cup of tea. This was not bad, and I especially loved the little shenanigans of the Doctor in zero G and him showing his mischievous side. He is really fun that way. He is just toying with the Daleks and uses their ship as his playground. However. There is only so much of Nick shouting into his little toy one can bear, and I am at a point currently that I am just dead tired of the Daleks. This story did not bring anything new or innovative to them (as opposed to the recent 5th Doctor releases). And I found the story pretty predictable. So this ranks good average for me. I pre-ordered the other two BF releases that are still coming, as well as the book that will come out tomorrow. They will provide some nice distraction, however, by now, I am not expecting anymore to be thrilled by any of the material.

Whilst I'm not quite as Dalek'd out as others (I'm glad that, after today, we're getting a short break from them, but -), I will say that I think I found that to be my favourite of the three Eighth Doctor TLV audios...

Just listened to it. It was entertaining, but I still don't have a good feel for TLV. I will be disappointed if they don't do anything more with this new companion. Does "All Flesh is Grass" directly lead into this? P.S. I guess I should start watching the animated Daleks as it looks like some of the same Daleks in that story feature here.
