Probably been mentioned before but for me the dream would be merlin and primeval in the same vein as torchwood, probs bimonthly releases focusing on one or two main characters with the occasional boxset with the full cast when cast availability allows. Could see being human maybe working on audio and preharps even black mirror as a audio anthology of how technology can go wrong.

As I’ve no doubt prattled on before I do think it’s only a matter of time before Big Finish try their hand at Primeval. We’re slowly but steadily approaching the era of nostalgia for the Noughties after all. If it were up to me, I’d have range for it akin to the Torchwood Monthly Range with a story dedicated to one character with room to lead into a long running series.

Would never, ever, happen but I’d love to hear the likes of Whitechapel continued in audio form. If only to act as a proper conclusion for the series and maybe leave the potential for further stories.
I know Phil Davis has done the odd radio drama here and there but I’m not sure whether Steve Pemberton (outside of the original League of Gentlemen shows) or Rupert Penry-Jones has.
Again, would never happen but it’s something I’d certainly pay for at least.

After rewatching the entire series, I actually think Wizards Vs Aliens would make for a good property for Big Finish to take on.
They already have a few of the performers such as Annette Badland and Dan Starkey on their books after all. Could even give them an excuse to explore other alien species outside of the Nekross.
Mind you, would definitely require a time skip than a straight forward continuation.

Someone has already probably said but id love some star wars audio dramas. There's been so many star wars books but barely any audio dramas.

If they’re going to do Primeval, I’d go for a continuation. It was fairly patchy and nonsensical as an ongoing story, but leaving it on a cliffhanger always irks. That said, being a show with such a visual streak to it, I’d be wary of how well it could work.
I’d love a continuation of Outcasts. The first series was very slow, you could tell they were trying to go for a long haul slow burn mystery - Lost was clearly a huge inspiration - and while they clearly didn’t have the means to pull it off, I thought there was so much potential in there that it was a shame it was never allowed to grow. That said, it had a huge cast with some big names, so I’m not sure how feasible it would be. Still, it looks increasingly unlikely that the suggestion of it being continued in novels will happen, so I’d be happy even with some audiobooks.
It’s a shame Farscape has rights issues, as the long promised screen continuation seems less and less likely as time goes on.
Red Dwarf… with the newly sorted rights for Rob Grant to produce his own version, audio is definitely a strong possibility. That said, it’s a sitcom first and foremost - the cast have spoken about VII and Back to Earth being difficult because they weren’t done in front of a live audience - so my guess would be he’ll go to Radio 4, who he’s worked with regularly in recent years. I do think there’s scope for a more comedy-drama focused adaptation of the novels, which I think would be big sellers - it’s a currently active show with a sizeable obsessive fanbase, unlike many of BF’s ranges - although I wonder if the company’s aversion to actors with ‘controversial’ views would stop them from wanting to work with Chris Barrie after his recent demented vaccines / Jews / wokeness conspiracy rants on his website.
Dark Season has RTD’s name which will help a lot, but if it proves successful enough, I wonder if there’d be a market for similar stories. I wonder what the Aquila boys are up to now, or if anything else happened in the world of Earthfasts. Terrence Hardiman is a BF regular so maybe a return to the Demon Headmaster.
I know he’s sometimes considered a bit of a Douglas Adams Lite kind of author, but I think some of Tom Holt’s books could work. I’d love to hear BF have a go at his YouSpace series.

I'm Garth Marenghi, horror writer. Several years before my award-snubbed tv series Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, I wrote, directed, and starred in a radio series entitled Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. The studio made me keep the name. This series was thought lost, as Channel 4 apparently didn't have enough space in their archives for, in their words, 'a series this poor'. They were wrong, and thanks to off-air recordings we are now able to present the entirety of Darkplace as an audio production with interviews featuring the original cast and crew - including moi - interspersed throughout. So. Sit back. Put on a pair of headphones. Crank the audio up to 11 (or whatever your highest setting is). And listen. To Darkplace. Yeah, this would work.

Comedy in general feels like an under explored area for BF. I haven’t heard any Mervyn Stone, but given that they’re Nev Fountain, I’ve always assumed they’re comedic, but is there anything else? There are obviously some Who and related stories and ranges that are silly, but I wouldn’t call any outright comedies.

It’s out of print at the moment but definitely worth a listen if you ever get the chance.

There are obviously some Who and related stories and ranges that are silly, but I wouldn’t call any outright comedies. A long time ago (around 2000/1) Big Finished tried a couple of comedy releases, The Treason Show and Fly Me to the Moon... I think it's fair to say that they wasn't the biggest selling Big Finish releases ever. I had the CD's, I wasn't impressed and promptly got rid of them... and I was a Big Finish CD collector back then. That's how bad I thought they were!
The Mervyn Stone books were parody mystery thrillers featuring the ex-scriptwriter of a BBC TV sci-fi show solving random murders. They were very funny and on the money! The audio The Axeman Cometh was also very good... the ending was just brilliant! For me it should have been a bigger seller that it was. Which might mean comedy on audio isn't the No.1 genre among the Big Finish illuminati!

Now that Robert Powell has been reeled in.... could BF do an audio version of "The Detectives"?
For those of you too young or too overseas to know this series, it started out as a a recurring sketch in the comedy show of a Birmingham comic singer - turned - comedian - turned partner in very profitable production company. "The Detectives" paired Jasper Carrott with a proper actor, Robert 'Jesus Christ' Powell as two idiotic police detectives. It then got a series spinoff, and it's "thing" was the *fantastic* guest cast.
Wouldn't it be great if BF not only did a comedy series, but had a big-name guest star in every episode? If anybody could do it....
