That's been collected into a graphic novel, hasn't it? I might well do that. Other 2000ad graphic novels I wholeheartedly recommend - Button Man, Halo Jones, Harlem Heroes (or more impressively, Inferno!), Cradlegrave and finally, Blackhawk. Blackhawk started as a historical story in Tornado comic, and got upgraded to space adventurer on its merger with 2000ad. It's my favourite story ever - great characters, lots of humour amidst the darkness, and a brilliant showcase for some of the best Belladinelli art I ever saw. A brilliant, trippy, extravagant comic strip! Dont forget the brill 'Bad Company'! Never read that. I've had a long break from 2000ad. Could you tell me about it?

A rag tag bunch of soldiers are fighting the alien Krool on a poisoned earth, with each of the company holding secrets and weirdness. Great art by Ewins/McCarthy i think, and all a bit intriguing as to what the captain (Kano) keeps in his black box. Find 'Goodbye Krool World' on Amazon and give it a go.

So, in case you didn't know, THIS happened: www.cbr.com/x-men-gold-artist-ardian-syaf-my-career-is-over/Oh, buddy, I feel ZERO sympathy. I'm so angry right now. How dare this guy hijack X-Men and everything it stands for THAT. *Trying desperately not to swear* It really sucks that this guy actually was apparently a role model and taught comic book art in his home country and as G Willow has it, it's going to make things harder for Muslim creators in comics.

Green Lantern by Geoff Johns omnibus volume 1. Finished Revenge of the Green Lanterns and midway through Sinestro Corps War. In hindsight it's amazing how much foreshadowing and early name dropping for the Emotional Spectrum and the different Corps Johns got in.

It's a bit like with Damian May, a cover artist who used to do freelance work for Big Finish. After airing unprofessional opinions about a well-known figure in the Doctor Who community on social media (the Big Finish news article refused to go into any more detail) Big Finish stopped doing any work with him. Like with Adrian Syaf he was a great artist, but a few bad decisions completely overshadowed that.

i read the first future quest trade ive been fanboying all over this series you dont need to hear me again
also
afterlife with archie it was really good i have 5 older sister we had plenty of arhies around the house i always liked the gang. it is really remarkable how easily writer roberto aguire sacasa, whom i never heard of, slipped riverdale and all its characters, into a black magic zombie apocalypse. i am not a fan of zombies and there is an over saturation of zombie fiction in pop culture, but i really enjoyed this book. my familiarity with the cast really had me anxious in this zombies are coming for them setting. and i am sure i dont have to say anything about artist francisco francivilla the guy is top notch a great story teller.
i know im a little late to the i love afterlife with archie hype train but im hopping on anyway
im in the middle of jeff lemire and andrea sorrentino green arrow volume 4 the kill machine. its ok the art is a feast for the eyes.

Last night whilst (vaguely) watching "Chat Shows Gone Wrong" with my mother I read through the omnibus collection of the Titans DW comic "The Weeping Angels Of Mons". I'm hopefully going to be in London for my birthday on Wednesday, so am planning on getting the next one in the storyline...

Eh, I wouldn't say it was merely a bad decision. He was trusted with the one of the primary titles of THE major relaunch for the X-titles and completely abused and abused that trust to deliever a 'political' message completely aboherent to the concept of the X-books and thought he could get away with it over differences in translation and then tried to plead for 'tolerance'. Let's not forget that Marc is Jewish, either (and has wanted to write a central X title for years). What a horrible betrayl. Adrian Saf also bathered on on about the Jewish controlled media for his misfortunes on an Indonesian fan site and didn't expect to caught which is just.....ugh. The guy doesn't deserve to be anywhere near super heroes.
As for Damian May, I don't feel much sympathy for him, either. The covers for Phillip Hinchcliffe Presents box set might have been nice, but his behaviour, although nowhere near as awful as Saf's, was incredibly unprofessional and nasty and had similar consequences. If you can't behave like an adult, ideally, you don't get to play in the big leagues, particularly in a franchise which has the eyes on it that Doctor Who does. BF had every right to drop him and the way they conducted themselves speaks volumes of their integrity and character.

I've been dipping into Hellboy recently, and really enjoying it. It was a great moment when he finally realised Aung Rama is his title, not his name, so it had not power over him - especalliu as he'd abandoned the role.

Aliens: Defiance vol. 1 - Already one of my favorite Aliens stories. It captures the sense of grit and determination that propels many of the best stories from the IP.

i finished jeff lemire and andrea sorrintino's green arrow it was an ok story with great art
i also read jeff lemire's moon knight, with art by greg smallwood, at least the first trade. it was good and it felt like "it's own thing." the art was good as well. if you ever wanted to see a superhero in a straight jascket, this is book for you. that trope i think is used quite often in gerne fiction like ours. right off the top of my head it happened to buffy and sisko. but lemire uses it pretty well. and of course you get egyption gods . while i was reading i kept thinking do thos gods interact with the great panther god of wakanda, the tiger god of the white tiger, and of course ther Olympians and the asgardians. if thor meets moon knight can he tell he is the champion of khonsu? thor along with amadues cho did meetthe goddess sehkmet/hapi with hilarous results.
i started monstress vol 1 by marjorie liu and sana takeda. sana did a great ricky barnes sketch for free for me, so i try to check out her projects. she draws very pretty shoujo manga style girl/women that are just insanely violent. see her ms marvel vs moonstone to see what i am taking about. here she is in full on crazy fantasy world so she can really stretch her wings and the art is amazing. i am still in that lost what are the rules of this world faze of a new fantasy world. so i am not sure about the story yet.

Today I got: Secret Empire #1 (with a free 3D lenticular backing) Nova #3 (it was sold out before I could get it closer to release date) Nova #6 (with the strong writing and art it's really sad this is the penultimate issue) Champions #8 Batman #22 (the third part of The Button crossover with Flash, and finally got one with the lenticular cover) Green Lanterns #22 (like the start of this new arc and can't wait for the next issue!) Nightwing #20 (need to reread to fully understand what's going on) Green Lantern Corps: Futures End #1 Grayson: Futures End #1 (love this one to bits with the very intelligent and creative writing choices)
