This week I got: Iceman #1 and #2 Green Lanterns #25 (extra-sized anniversary issue!) Nightwing #23 Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man #1. Great place for someone to start, and some brilliant meta-comments. That last page will have me waiting for the next issue.

i know i said white tiger was next and i did read 2 issue. but i received secret avengers vol 2 the labyrinthby ales kot and micheal walsh
i loved their first trade and was really loving thi one EXCEPT one thing DEADPOOL everytime he is "on screen" he takes me right of the story, right out of my immersion. i just started skipping by his parts. still have a
chunk to go.

This week was: - Secret Empire #5. The surprises just keep coming, and the last pages are no different. - Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #23. Nice use of time travel mechanics as plots start tying up.

Read the first two Rivers of London graphic novels - Body Work and Night Witch. Love the art work in them - Lee Sullivan is as always simply amazing. The stories were good too. Very happy I stumbled across this series a few weeks ago, finishing off the sixth book today.

read the first 8 issues of godzilla kingdom of monsters by eric powell. boy is it dark. i wasnt crazy about the art. it starts with phil hester who is serviceable enough. he is followed up by a fellow named victor santos.
this is the first time seeing his stuff, and i cant say i like it too much. but boy was i sucked into the story. im not even sure what the 2 main characters are all i know i was completely there for their struggles to survive
in world slowly being destroyed by giant monsters. starting with next issue a new writer, jason ciaramella, takes over. and i never even hear of him. ill try it and see what happens.

i need to read the rest of the hanna barbera dc stuff all i read was the future quest
reading supersons from dc what a blast
finally got around to finishing my iron fist issue its a good series my one caveat is the writer comes up with stupid names for kung fu techniques, other than that its practically wall to wall action.

Stumbled across Blacksad on Amazon the other day, based on the blurb I thought this was a series I'd enjoy so I took a leap and ordered the three volume collection. Read the first book which collects the first three stories - brilliant stories and some of the most breathtaking artwork I've seen. Very pleased this gamble paid off. Anyone who likes film noir and cats should take a look at this series.

Just read Gravel Volume 1. Excellent story, great art - I think I'll need to get the rest of the series.

Read the first two collected volumes of James Bond. Enjoyed the stories in both Vargr and Eidolon - both could work as a movie in my opinion.

I'm seeing a lot of people online being rather creative in discussing Marvel, often either through barely hidden dark designs or just out of the joy of online anoymity. I'm not saying there isn't room for criticism, - for the former, I know you won't change your minds and hope the better parts will undo your nonsense , but for the later, surely you must reliase you'll miss Marvel when it's gone?
