The problem with Lost Dimension ironically was that it was too long. As you say the two Specials were pretty much padding. I did appreciate that each TARDIS team in the ongoings got their own issues, as it helped the pacing immensely. If they'd cut the specials and put the Jenny stuff in the final pages of other issues, it would have worked better At least the ghastly A Rose by Any Other Name back up strip in the Tenth Doctor issues is gone. |

Really tempted to pick up the Bat titles now because of Bruce and Selina's engagement. i was reading detective rebirth which i liked, but i lost track of it. tom king is writing batman he is the real deal. i read his vision and omega men. he is good. he did the batman annual, at the time lots of folks were calling it the best batman story ever written. i saw him doing some fun things like a double date with bruce, selina, clark and lois. i think i'm going start picking it up in trade. btw tom king is ex CIA one more thing lots of folks are raving about his current mister miracle mini series. my LCS sells out every month. |

I love the issue where Bruce and Selina double date with Clark and Lois, and the theme park is holding a superhero theme night. The question is will Bruce and Selina be able to tie the knot, and if so how long will the marriage survive? Will the next writer want to keep it? |

He also co-wrote Grayson with Tim Seeley, who until recently has done the Rebirth Nightwing series (he's swapped that over to Sam Humphries in exchange for Green Lanterns). Grayson is highly recommended, Dick Grayson meets James Bond. I've got all five volumes and absolutely love the Futures End issue. |

I am once again re-reading Marvel's 1970's horror series Tomb of Dracula. I have this in three giant omnibus editions. And what a beautifully told and exquisitely drawn series it is. Gene Colan's striking visuals are, if anything, lessened by the colour (I originally read these in edited black-and-white UK weekly Dracula Lives), and Marv Wolfman's stories (a Wolfman writing Dracula - my young brain could never wrap itself around that concept) are just sublime. Characters, situations, jeopardy and above all, horror, all combine to make this series something I have revisited more, probably, than anything else.

just finished black bolt number 10 you have to check this book out. its more science fiction than super hero but it does both really well.
