new comic book day
marvel two in one the most marvel comic ive read in a long time thing and torch searching for reed, sue and the kids in the multiverse. its a great premise. but before they start they have to get something checked out first. throw in hercules and victor von doom and the thinker. just fun.
captain america meets 2000 ad or pretty much cap is frozen again and wakes up in a nuked out america run by dictatorship. it looked a lot the mutated worlds in judge dredd and strontium dogs to me. except its only 7 years in the future. honestly just dumb. marvel and cap coming out of the massively unpopular secret empire and, mark waid takes cap right back into a very similar storyline.
i have nightwing 38, dark nights hawkman found, falcon 5, sideways 1,justice league 38, black panther the sound and the fury 1 , and the dark knight rising the wild hunt still to go

Milligan is a great writer. But not really convinced that we need more Prisoner.

The DC Zoom and DC Ink inprints look great!
I really hope the DC's New Age of Heroes books do well.

Collecting the Rebirth Superman trades and very excited for Doomsday Clock. (I have a feeling the legacy of Watchmen will be kept intact somehow, so I'm not that worried about it) Saddened to hear that Super-Sons has been cancelled. (Although pairing Jon and Damien is still kind of weird - Damien's thirteen after all)

Looking forward to Gideon Falls. Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino are a win for me.

(Although pairing Jon and Damien is still kind of weird - Damien's thirteen after all) There's a thread running through Action Comics that is resolved in the Superman/Action Comics crossover Superman Reborn. I've just been contributing to a Rebirth Superman reading list thread on another forum, so any background you need on the Rebirth just ask. I'd also recommend the mini-series Superman: Lois and Clark. In terms of other Rebirth title appearances there's at least one issue of Batman, a couple of issues of Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps, Super Sons of Tomorrow (Superman, Super-Sons, Teen Titans and Titans off the top of my head) and the Metal event concluding in March.

You all need to pick up Rogue and Gambit. A wonderfully mature take on relationships

I honestly don't get the Marvel hate. Yes, they have been blips (Civil War II), but honestly, I think there doing great. Dan Slott is ONE of the greats and you need new characters to act as a jumping on points.
I do love Rebirth, but blips aside, I love what Marvel is doing now. ReXurrection has been great.

The Lost Fleet: Corsair #5
The Power Of The Dark Crystal #9-#11 There's a sequence in issue 10 that is what I imagine The Crucible being like in Doctor Who during the Time War
Scooby Apocalypse #20-#22 This series is really running out of steam

In the last year we've had Civil War II (yes it overran that long), Inhumans vs X-Men, Secret Empire with No Surrender and Infinity Countdown (can't guess what film is coming out soon) currently running, with Fresh Start coming later in the year, as well as the Legacy initiative.

Marvel is bringing back The Sentry - that's a bold move. Very intrested in the story they will have to tell.

Chimichanga: Sorrow of the World’s Worst Face. Hard to go wrong with anything from Eric Powell’s mind.
