After Space Babies, I was really worried about this new era, but I've absolutely loved every episode since!
Ncuti and Millie are brilliant, great dynamic. Ncuti gets the balance of light and dark, old and young perfectly. I love his energy, hope and kindness but he also really shows the frustration, outrage and anger the Doctor has in them. One essential thing I need to see in all portrayals of the Doctor is that they don't suffer fools gladly, I'm talking about cutting wit that puts the pompous, elitist, and prejudice in their place. The reason I didn't take to 13 was because I didn't see enough of this in the portrayal. She many good qualities but less of what I enjoy.
I do veer towards anything close to the Hinchcliffe era interpretation and style. Dark, gothic, black humour but perhaps with a touch of the larger than life quirkiness of Tennant's Doctor(s).
Ncuti gets a huge thumbs up from me so far, great acting and range, clearly getting the character.

Okay three theories
1. Mrs Flood is Dodo and the TotT is the reveal
2. Susan Twist is really the daughter's granddaughter and this is the reveal, and we'll see Carol Ann Ford regenerate
3. Ruby is in it and we get the 'it's all been a tv show along' reveal and she's somehow connected to the 'one who waits'

Thinking about Susan Twist and the returning character theories which (to me) don’t hold up in the fact that with each of her appearances she seems to be a part of the environment, not out of place… almost like a chameleon circuit.

Almost like splinter Claras... That’s also what it reminded me of! I think if she was a returning character trying to get the Doctor’s attention they’d be sticking out more than they are, but they seem to be very incorporated into each environment.

That is interesting. We know the memory TARDIS is going to be in the finale based on the Disney+ trailer, so there’s presumably a direct link somewhere. I’m not usually one for Susan theories, but she doesn’t seem out of the realms of possibility. A mention of her in the first Tales of the TARDIS run, a more explicit mention in The Devil’s Chord, Carole Ann being at The Star Beast screening. If Susan Twist really is just doing the odd cameo, then it wouldn’t be unfeasible that she was hired purely based on her name as a meta joke, which in turn connects to the more meta elements this series has presented so far. If it links directly to the main show, then a terrestrial showing on BBC Four would make sense. But I wonder who she’d be with? David Bradley? If it was Ncuti you’d imagine they’d wrangle a BBC Two airing at least. Running time of 75 minutes doesn’t instantly bring to mind a Susan story that’s appropriate unless it’s a colourised and edited down version they’ve kept secret a la The Daleks. Or perhaps it’s Bonnie doing one as Mel?

Okay here is my most out-there and unlikely theory...
Mrs. Flood is an older Dodo and it will be a rediscovered Celestial Toymaker serial that was found before the 60th but had to be delayed for reasons.

Or perhaps it’s Bonnie doing one as Mel? Planet of Giants might be short enough The eps done in this format have been fan faves pretty much. I can't fathom why Planet Of The Giants would merit the treatment - especially being televised too. I will guess it's Dalek Invasion Of Earth cutdown, Susan's departure, and sets the newbie audience up for a Susan return in the last ep. I'll even go out on a limb and say Carol-Ann Ford will regen in the Tales From The Tardis - and will be a new incarnation. Perhaps either Susan Twist or Mrs Flood. The TARDIS tales show was too fannish for it NOT to have Susan involved. CAF is healthy for her age and was at the premiere of the 60th. The only reason to not have her in November? RTD had plans.

I'm getting a bit fed up with other things being queued waiting on the TV series to do something, or not. What does it matter if this or that character will appear on TV, or not. We've got 60+ years of material to access whenever; we can cope with overlaps and different points in different Doctors timelines and all that.
Especially, can we please have Jo Martin's first Fugitive Doctor audio sooner rather than later? We know it's waiting for release, so let's be having it!

While it's unlikely for a few reasons, I think people would rightly march on the BBC if they were charged for the animation that's now in the hands of some fans if it turned out the Celestial Toymaker was recovered already!

I've had very limited experience with TV via my comics work but I know we had exclusivity periods. Where an actor wouldn't be allowed to take a similiar role for 24 months, and we couldn't write for a show or film for 12 months in case it was picked up. I don't think it's a coincidence Jo's Coda box is currently scheduled for almost exactly 2 years since her last TV appearance. Or that River's BF journey started when Moffat said she was, once and for all, done on TV. It's just brand management.
