There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Did the Noel Clarke thing involve children? No. But I don't want to go into specifics here. Clarke and Barrowman were not convicted of anything.

No. But I don't want to go into specifics here. Clarke and Barrowman were not convicted of anything. Indeed. Let's not draw equivalences. That said - Clarke and Barrowman both conducted themselves in a way that would get any of us fired. I could be sacked for gross misconduct, that it isn't a police matter wouldn't be a defence. I do think the Barrowman one is a joke though. Yes - he should not have done it. Ever. But that he did and everyone from RTD to the cast knew of it with Tennant and Tate even making a jokey song referencing it - that is on the DVDs? I can 100% see why he feels aggrieved. To have his behaviour validated like that, then to have his career taken for the same thing? I can empathise if not sympathise. Clarke was known for a long while in the industry to be a casting couch fiend and I have zero sympathy there. When very early talks of one of my 2000AD strips being adapted happened, he was one of the names suggested as director and my agent knew of his rep, before it all came out in public. On Huw Edwards - it was kids. He can rot. But the ep can just have his voiceover removed and someone else like Clive Pyrie redoing it. No biggie there.

Yeah, I think that was clear. A few second of a(n audio-only?) cameo is easy enough to replace; a major character... less so.

I just don’t like “what-if” games with real people and real circumstances when there are examples to draw on from other people. Jimmy Saville’s Top Of The Pops episodes were pulled from repeats so I imagine that someone would make the decision to remove relevant episodes (or series in the case of Torchwood) from repeats and probably iplayer. Fans would be in an uproar (cf Absent Friends) but I’m guessing the broadcaster wouldn’t want to be seen as profiting from someone who had committed a crime.

Disney seems keen to push Who at their own showcase. So maybe positive sign of their commitment. Maybe.

I doubt it especially if Series 15 is rumoured to be Ncuti’s last he will had over to 14. Or 14 will turn up in The War Between The Land and Sea. Tennant is currently this week's Social Media "Villain Of All Time Bad-Type Nasty Person" over on Twitter, so that would be hilarious
(There's a clip doing the rounds of him using irony to demonstate how Kilgrave from "Jessica Jones" thinks, and people have watched it and demanded that he die of cancer)

14? He's coming back isn't he. To save the show. You think RTD left the 14th Doctor and his TARDIS sitting around just for the fun of it?!
Clever Russell. He's always got a Plan B.

So there was a very recent interview with RTD, it's popping up on FB today where he confirms that there will be no more River Song on the tv show.

More details on Land Between War and Sea, confirming that Madeley is reprising her role from last year’s specials and also that Colin McFarlane is reprising his character from Children of Earth. Safe to say that’s not a character anyone ever expected to make a comeback.
