Columbo: "A Stitch in Crime" - Leonard Nimoy has got to be one of the nastiest murderers in the show's history. One of the few who actually made Columbo lose his temper.
MASH: "The Long John Flap" - It is apparently winter in Korea for the second time this season, and everyone wants Hawkeye's long underwear.

Walking Dead Season 10 opener, it was a decent opener but i do think the writers need to start planning a endgame for this series.

AMC have said repeatedly over the last year or so that they believe The Walking Dead is only "halfway through its life". They're anticipating getting up to Season 20 or so. Now, I don't believe it's going to last that long, but if Season 10 is anywhere as good as Season 9, I'm hopeful it'll go for another two or three seasons yet (I also enjoyed the Season 10 premiere, for what it's worth) As for Fear the Walking Dead... I've never given up on a show. Never. But I'm pretty close to with Fear. After what felt like basically nothing happening for thirteen episodes in the latest season, they then introduced a new story line and, well, let's just saying that the set up for Season 6 just feels like a retread of very old Walking Dead ground that really didn't need to be repeated. I'm not hopeful, but I'll give it a go. As for the third (as yet untitled) spin-off, I'll give it a go, but I'm not expecting a third show to last too long. There's really only so much you can do in a zombie apocalypse, and I think the Walking Dead universe has already covered most of it. The premise of "these kids have grown up only really knowing the apocalypse" doesn't feel like a conceit that's got very long legs to me.

Sooner or later this series will run out of steam, it ain't as good without Rick in my opinion & i think needs to think about the endgame especially as the low numbers for the premiere show it's losing viewers. Fear The Walking Dead i enjoyed until series 4, stopped watching it & i won't be watching the third spin off which looks a Stand By Me Of The Walking Dead.

Caught up on a swathe of new/recent TV episodes. Can't watch MASH all day every day, after all. Brought to you by "Horrendous," our Word of the Day.
Family Guy: "Yacht Rocky" - Horrendous. South Park: "Band in China" - Good. Star Trek: Short Treks: "Q&A" - Horrendous. The Simpsons: "Go Big or Go Homer" - Had a decent concept, but execution sucked and it turned out horrendous. Family Guy: "Bri-Da" - Horrendous, but less so than the premiere above. South Park: "Shots!!!" - Had myself a time.
Hm. Maybe this is why I just watch MASH all the time...

I want the new show to be Sweet Valley High with zombies. Then I might start watching all this zombie dross again.

When I was the first show (other than Star Trek) of which I was a true fan. I knew every episode, had a bunch of books about the making of it. I still know the words to the theme song (yes, there are words) and would draw MASH doodles on all my notebooks. Your comments on the episodes bring back memories.

I've seen many episodes in syndication, but it's my first time to sit down and watch it all in order. Same with Columbo, actually. Great shows the pair of em.

How long 'til series four again? *raises hand* I would happily volunteer "too long", but I did a search and it looks like it'll be November 5th this year, which is very amenable. Fingers crossed for another 13-episode season. Between Voltron, Dragons and Trollhunters, Dreamworks has been really knocking it out of the park with these series.

I read somewhere that it is a 'full' 13episode series, yes. I can't say that I've seen the other shows you've mentioned, but 'Voltron' is on my 'to get round to watching' list...

I can't say that I've seen the other shows you've mentioned, but 'Voltron' is on my 'to get round to watching' list... Awesome. Ohhh... Voltron was one of the main reasons I committed to a Netflix account. The characters are really easy to like -- fun, yet complicated -- and it's got some of the best voice acting I've heard since Cowboy Bebop. They feel like a genuine team, bouncing off one another. It really lends itself to that old structure of three seasons at 26-episodes apiece, so now's actually a better time to watch it than ever before. Trollhunters was a nice surprise. I went in without any expectations and same deal. Great characters with a surprisingly complex dynamic and some genuinely fraught stakes (one of the characters has to drive to the hospital with a stab wound in his shoulder, fading in and out of consciousness, because no one else can). It's a bit shorter than Voltron at 52-episodes, but they use what time they have very effectively.
