Iron Bright (Chris Chapman)
Gosh, that young Chris Chapman is such a fabulous writer for the Sixth Doctor isn’t he?

The Prisoner of Peladon
David Troughton performs very well in a story that neatly fleshes out Ice Warriors and the post-Jo Third Doctor. King Peladon is an compelling character here, especially towards the end.
My interest in next year’s Peladon set has gone way up.

Fever Island (Jonathan Barnes)
One of my most listened to audios. Not the best Big Finish have to offer but it always picks me up and is just so entertaining.

3DAs 7.1 The Unzal Incursion
Great story and a very convincing Season 7 vibe. And I guessed the ending which always gives me a few smug points! (To be fair to the Doctor, it does help that we know his future... )

The Starship of Theseus (John Dorney)
Not exactly the biggest fan of what Big Finish have done with the Time War but I thought this was a decent start at least.

For old time’s sake, I revisited The Chimes of Midnight. It’s so strange every time I go back to listen to the earlier Eighth Doctor stories after listening to the more recent stories. Paul’s voice really has subtly changed over the years and the way he plays the Doctor has changed too. The lightness of his performance in Chimes, of an actor still relatively early in the role, contrasted with the performance of today, with the weight of all the tragedies the character has gone through and all the years he’s been in the role. It helps put the Eighth Doctor’s story in focus and maybe even revitalized some of that love I have for his range in general.

As my copy arrived from Ebay this morning, today I've been listening to 'The Church & The Crown' for the first time (I still have about 10-odd minutes of part 4 left). Whilst I will say that it's been a bit of a background-listen on the way to/from work, I've been enjoying it pleasantly.

I am still continuin my relisten of the 8DA (ironically my 1st ever story i heard was "Prisoner Of The Sun".. S04E08!!)
Today I listened to S03E01 "Orbis", S03E02 "Hothouse" and I am about 1/4 through S08E03 "The Beast Of Orlock" now.. I have "The Further Adventures Of Lucie Miller" I think that's in between S03 and 04(?). will go through that before relistening to S04 and THAT ending.. The only time I heard it was about 9ish years ago and I had a massive flu so my memory is a bit iffy on it but I remember thinking it was br00talz..

I hope I can finish up tonight with the Robots. Last story to go. Loving it so far. The leads are great as always and the story has developed into an exciting Sci-Fi thriller.

Primord (John Dorney)
One of the best stories the Third Doctor Adventures has as a range to offer. A great debut for the return of Liz Shaw and it makes good use of a returning monster. What more could you ask for?

Today I've made a start on 'The Roof Of The World' for what I thought was the first time but, as I can (vaguely) remember parts of it, I'm probably misremembering... Whilst I'm not going to say that I am strictly 'loving' it, what I've heard of part 2 is certainly interesting enough so far...

Spare Parts (Marc Platt)
A tale penned by one of Big Finish’s greatest writers and worthy of it’s almost legendary status with Peter Davison sounding very invested when it comes to his performance. Only real issue I have is that some of the modulation when it comes to certain characters is rather hard to understand.
