Bernice Summerfield, the Squire's Crystal.
I know this book's important contribution to Benny's continuity, but it is certainly an unusual listen. It certainly was an interesting drive to work listening to Benny going on about her body in this one.
Edit: So, that's the second Benny audiobook that's stopped working while I've listened to it in two days, wonderful.
I guess I'll either be listening to the new War Master or Dreams of Avarice while driving home tonight., in the mean time, I'll be listening to The Five Dimensional Man.

Having a nice charming evening with Billis Manger on my balcony. Sipping a cold drink (home made Mojito with the awesome mint provided by my colleague) in 33 degrees watching the sunset. Can things get any better?

3DAs, Volume 7 - The Gulf.
This is a terrific story - Tim Foley really is a genius writer with a wonderful leaning toward the macabre - and the slow-burning creeps work really well in an unusual setting. If money allowed, I'd order every BF release with Tim's name on it (as it is, I've still got his 5DAs Forty 2 and Classic Doctors New Monsters 3: The Stuff of Nightmares to look forward to). The cast is great too. Apart from the two excellent recast regulars, Wendy Craig's in it! Also, Bethan Walker (Lynette) puts in an amazing performance.

Due to after-affects of Covid I haven't listened to a full story in easily over 2 weeks now. I just can't focus. Even on my fave doctors, 4th & 5th.
ARGH

I often listen to audios at night, and sometimes, I need a whole week to get through because I will fall asleep.
It is not as if you get a medal for it.

Second Sight (Nigel Fairs)
Not sure if I can consider recasting our leads as a pair of youthful Australians as being particularly bold or innovative at all but it certainly makes for an entertaining choice.

I'm trying to squeeze in as much of the Infernal Nexus as I can today, Work is virtually non existant on today due to Canada Day So I've got 10 hours to kill.
Still, when my attention eventually wanders, I'll switch to The British Invasion and the Tactics of Defeat, clearing the way to watch The War Games tomorrow.

Continuing to listen to my newly discovered German audio drama series "Moriarty". Featuring one of my favorite German audio actors (who is an absolute legend) playing the title role. This actor has an amazing range, he plays young lawfully good characters as well as older chaotic evil characters and anything in between. He stated himself the crowning achievement of his career was doing the German dubbing for Gollum in the Lord of the Rings (he is a huge fantasy nerd). Moriarty is awesome, murderous and full of audio gore, and if I were to compare it, it is very close to my beloved Billis Manger audios by Big Finish.

Remember Me (John Dorney)
A solid debut script from a writer who would quickly prove himself to be among Big Finish’s finest storytellers.

Just realized there is a new (the final!) Warhammer audio-book read by David Tennant. The series has been amazing. It is marketed for kids, but does no hand-holding and indeed shows the horrific dystopia that is the Imperium of Man. And David Tennant is an AMAZING reader. This is awesome. Downloading now.
