Finally made it through the Blazing Hour. Sadly, only an average rating from me- the evil capitalist card was played much too strongly and was grating on me after a while.

Had some moderately long train journeys to relatives and back this weekend, so got through latest 9DA set (it’s fine, nothing revelatory) and finished off the Seventh Doctor: New Adventures at last. Goddamn The Dread of Night is good.

I Finished listening to the last two episodes of "The Avengers: The Comic Strip Adaptations Volume 4", Episode 3, "White Heat", is my favourite one in the set. Very memorable and interesting.
After that, my randomised journey counties to "Cicero Episode 1." I came to that with some fear of the language but with knowledge about that period. After understanding each character, it was easy to listen, and I liked all the twists. Some were recognised before, and some came surprisingly. Very good story.
Then I got something different, but it quickly became my favourite of this group "I, Jacobi". I adore in-depth interviews, and if It were three more hours, I would be even happier. As someone who worked in a radio station and got to do many interviews, I like the way Scott Handcock moderated it, as I think most of the people can't do it properly, but this is subject to another place. Derek was fantastic, of course.
And that brings me to now, "The First Doctor Adventures Volume 2", now I decided to start with "The Barbarians and the Samurai".one of the problems I have with Doctor Who is that besides is based too much in the UK. If they choose a country from abroad, they will probably select countries known to ordinary British people, never a story in Bulgaria or Israel, but many in USA or France. And Japan is a step in the right direction.
The story itself was good. Some names and actions were not 100%, and I do not get this version of Susan sometimes, but Ian And the Doctor shine, and it was different, which is fantastic.
And as for "The Invention of Death", so far, I'm not a fan like a majority I mean, it is a first doctor story, so it is good, but so far, I feel Weird and over-dramatic motives that make it harder for me, and I still need to re-listen to part 4 to sum it up.
Overall this group was really good, and I can't wait for the next one.

After finishing 3rd Doctor and Jo Jones today, I craved for something more epic and went for Time War- Palindrome. Still VERY awesome. Terry Molloy is utterly amazing in this.

Scavenger - Enjoyed that but it feels a bit artificially inflated for its runtime
Started Enter Wildthyme, Katy Manning is always a delightful narrator.
