I wonder what Jeremiah and Barnabas are up to. I'm sure we'll hear from them in June. According to DS Wiki, in 1767 we're still three years from baby Barnabas, so I think he'll be quite quiet.
Not in any of my podcasts, I don't think... I hope he hasn't been cheating on me with other podcasters. Davy has always been quite vocal about wanting to do a Phoenix plot though, but I don't remember him mentioning Angelique in the same context.

I swear I remember a podcast where Joe, or maybe it was Davy, mentioning wanting to do an audio about that time that Laura and Angelique shared a cottage in 1897 and one of them burning the toast. It's just too distinct a memory for me to doubt it.
Joe, Davy, and co have such respect for the series that no matter what, I am certain that they will be so respectful of Blood & Fire.

Might Bloodline debut in October? River's apperance in Doom Coalition 3 would introduce the more casual Big Finish customers to the series and it is the month of Halloween...and we might get a Halloween episode! To be honest, I don't get how River popping up in the Doctor Who audios would make more people buy Bloodline? River's a big draw for casual and new customers alike. Promoting the series alongside Doom Coalition 3 hype would be a nice lead-in, with intrest in what Big Finish does being quite high and it being October - the month of Halloween!

Halloween maybe but I can't see them using River to promote Dark Shadows. She doesn't have anything to do with the range (and they have never used this strategy before). Actually I wonder if there is not a release date because it's not finished and they don't want to announce an exact date until they hsve a better idea. Edit: Although they did say Fall 2016 so I guess October is as good a guess as any.

Trust me - ranges sell on their own merits. The guest stars of the Doctor Who range have no effect whatsoever on the sales of anything in another range.

How right you are!! How do you know me so well? Not only that--to visit a time period that was never examined in the OS, only referred to offhandedly, is so very cool....and I love the Laura Murdock Stockbridge/Laura Stockbridge Collins explanation. That always seemed like a continuity gaff on the show, but it looks like now we're getting some history! There's not really any gaffe, is there? I've not seen Laura Mk II yet so I can't swear to that but the Dark Shadows wiki seems to think it all tallied.
I suppose we don't really want to talk about Laura(s) in too much detail or we may tip new listeners off too much about how things in Blood & Fire will need to tie in with the TV show...
No--no gaffe. I just always THOUGHT it was a gaffe. Actually the wiki helped explain it all to me.

I've noticed Big Finish has a new scrolling banner of current/recent titles on their website! I think they need to add a Dark Shadows one!!! Where is the love?

It seems to be random, it may be affected by individual viewing histories. I've seen a couple of Blake's 7 titles there at one point. EDIT: It looks like the titles from the past few months as well as any prolific titles. Hexagora and the bloody Prisoner are up there.

I don't actually understand what is meant here but I think the guest stars from Doctor Who in Dark Shadows audios probably added appreciably to the inevitability of me getting into the Doctor Who ranges sooner or later. No idea how plausible but I certainly wouldn't mind if Alex Kingston had a guest role in Dark Shadows. I'm sure it would rival the awesomeness of the guest appearances by Colin, Louise, Matthew, Sarah, Nicola and maybe some others I'm overlooking. Lalla should do a Dark Shadows audio too, it only seems fair since she's appeared in Dorian audios.

Yes guys the scroll bar shows the newest releases and I think the listeners release. They aren't forgetting Dark Shadows. Once the 50th is released it will be up there in all its glory. Same with Bloodline.
I mean there isn't any Dorian up there either. If they were actually forgetting that then I'd be really upset. Lol

It brings in a few more people through the Doctor Who actor, and is a selling point that can't be made for so many stories. It helps when the story they guest star in is a good jumping on point, like House by the Sea. It's beneficial for the actors as well, they get to play a different character from their usual role. It's handy for marketing. When a cast for a new story is announced previous Big Finish and film/TV projects each person has been involved in are mentioned because there might be someone who is a fan of Spooks and sees Nicola Walker from that is a companion, or that guy from Merlin is playing Dorian Gray. It's not the main selling point, but it's a selling point that appeals to another audience and brings in new listeners.

Oh, sure, but that's different though. Using a Doctor Who actor in a DS play can bring a DW fan to a DS audio they might not have heard otherwise. And, as you say, could bring a DS fan backwards to the DW range. I was more commenting on the suggestion that it would boost Dark Shadows: Bloodline sales to bring it out the same month as River Song guest stars in Doctor Who: Doom Coalition 3 because River is popular.

Who's seen Chris Pennock (Jeb Hawkes, Cyrus Longworth, Gabriel Collins)'s tweet the other day?
"off to Studio City to day... Dark Shadows Audio Dram BLOOD AND FIRE!! Soon I'll be haning with , [sic] Lisa, Lara, Jerry, Storm, Cathy, Selby"
Soon it was followed up with
"Villagers!!!! Dark Shasdows [sic] Actors alive and extremely well at Voice Trax Studio yesterday! Looking handsome, beautiful, and ageless!"
Certainly sounds like things are coming together swiftly!

Mr Pennock shared some photographs with him, Kathryn, Lara, Lisa, James Storm, and Mitch Ryan all together on his Facebook page.
As for that comment about Angelique and Laura Collins sharing the cottage and burning the toast, I heard that recently. I think it was a 2012 Big Finish DS Special podcast.

Just saw this little tidbit on Twitter
I expect we will be getting information really soon. Although they may want to wait until June to go hand in hand with Blood & Fire's release.

You're thinking Laura Stockbridge Collins who was Jeremiah's first wife and Barnabas knew as a ten year old. This is Laura Murdoch Stockbridge... and thereby hangs a tale... (which of course you're all pre-ordering avidly now aren't you?) Is that the same Laura who is mentioned in ...and Red All Over? The Laura that Burke mentions is Laura Collins, who is one of the reincarnations of the Phoenix, destined to die (and be reborn) in fire. Years before the events of the first episode, Burke and Roger had a rivalry when it came to Laura's affections. Burke got sent to jail for something that Roger did, so Laura married Roger. It's also heavily hinted that David could be the son of Burke and Laura, which is one of the reasons Roger is so horrible to him most of the time. Burke always showed a special interest in the red headed David, they had a real bond. David also has a premonition about Burke's plane accident the day Burke leaves for Brazil. The idea that David is actually a Devlin, not a Collins, is something that was never pursued after that, forgotten like the issue of Victoria Winter's origins.
