SAlso I recently rewatched Quentin getting cursed and it's all male descendants. Big Finish doesn't seem to want to go this way and the series might not have also at times, but it's what was said. Not sure I follow that. Do you mean 'all' as in ONLY male descendants or as in EVERY male descendant? I've just watched that run myself, it's stated as the 'first born male descendent of each generation' isn't it? Which is what BF have done. Exactly. Tom (introduced in Bloodlust, not the one who became a vampire) is the first, and so far only, branch of the Jennings family tree for his generation. Harry isn't related to Amy by blood, but who knows what his potential supernatural inheritance is given we know very little about his biological mother.

Yeah, regardless of whether it's first born or all male descendents (I'd have to double-check), it wouldn't apply to Harry, only Tom Cunningham.

I understand that it does not apply to Harry Cunningham, but I thought it applied to all male descendants. The show also seemed to suggest maybe a psychic connection to his female descents, as Amy would see the pentagram on the face of Chris' future victims. As I said, the show is a little slippery with the curse too, as Tom Jennings (not Tom Cunningham his nephew) doesn't become a werewolf. It might be that he wasn't old enough, or that I am remembering the curse incorrectly, or that the writers were nowhere near the idea of an 1897 flashback with gypsy cursing a Collins who would have secret legitimate children.

Oh I see, sorry - I keep forgetting about Tom Jennings!
The Dark Shadows wiki does support that it's first-born male. But on reflection the Tom/Chris Jennings thing's interesting.
The wiki says Tom is Chris' twin. Is that actually stated explicitly?
If so I suppose it must be that it's Chris that came out first, as it were...

I always thought Tom was just a little too nice - almost as if he were trying to hide some terrible secret...
