If it was for big finish either 4 or 12, because I associate them with gothic horror the most! Also I love 12 in any senerio😉If not them then for some reason I feel like 10 and Donna because they would defuse the tension. Or Sixie because I feel like he would be fun! A Halloween big finish story with a werewolf 12 would be fun! And Missy could try to keep him as her pet🤣🐺 Oh god, yes. That would be awesome.
Although, I would also not mind Sixie in there... (of course I would say that). Because Colin certainly would be up for this and he does not play evil and possessed nearly often enough. I wonder what a werewolf 12 would be like...🤔🤣🐺

And Jon Pertwee (Doctor Three) in the same film, pre Doctor Who:

Last Christmas (the Doctor Who episode) has one of the most beautiful magical, heartwarming and romantic endings not just in Doctor Who but of anything on tv ever! I cannot watch that scene without crying it’s so moving! 😢I think it’s one of the most moving moments between 12 and Clara! All told as though it were a proposal 12 is making to Clara as well! And I love 12’s line at the end about how he never gets second chances! Every single detail of this ending is perfect! 😊 youtu.be/6kSQfzYFWKMThis ending makes me want stories set between this and Magician’s Apprentice so we can see 12 and Clara more just after they eloped!🤔😊 I have my ideas of what happened 😉

Even though I like the fam okay, I generally much prefer TARDIS teams with only one or two companion(s). I think this creates a much deeper bond between Doctor and companion and allows for much more character development. I do have a particularly big soft spot for TARDIS teams with romantic undertones such as 10 and Rose, 4 and Sarah Jane, 8 and Charlie and ESPECIALLY 12 and Clara. But I also enjoy purely platonic (Non romantic) Doctor companion teams like 12 and Bill, 10 and Donna, 6 and Evelyn, 6 and Frobisher. My ideal TARDIS team for 13 this next series would be for her to travel with Yaz and possibly Jack as a secondary companion! I feel like they are leading up to something like this and I think there could be a good contrast between their personalities. I feel like 13 would get along with well with both Yaz and Jack separately but I feel like there would be an interesting clash of personalities between Yaz and Jack.

I think they might indeed go with Yaz and Jack (if his schedule permits this, which will have changed and been messed up by COVID; wasn't he due for some Broadway again? How would regular filming fit in there?). Yaz would be interesting, she has become more self-assured and head strong. I just hope with Jack he won't become a one trick pony comic relief. That would get old VERY quick.
Haha, you know my opinion about romance in the TARDIS. I am firmly with Colin on this one, it is pretty yuck (love with an Alien? Isn't there tentacle porn for that kind of thing?) and would be the equivalent of the Doctor loving a sheep (in Colin's words). Therefore, yeah, keep it platonic. The deepest it ever should go would be Scherzo- that was pretty awesome and I agree this is how this should be handled... this is one of the reasons I never warmed up to Rose and how that relationship developed.
I think there is one type of companion that has not gotten a lot of love in the TV series (aside from Turlough)- the morally ambiguous maybe villain companion. BF has a few of those, like C'rizz (who was completely under-used) and Klein in Nazi mode. In the comics we had the absolutely amazing Destrii (who even got to beat up the Doctor and, as it turns out, is secretly in love with him).
That is something I would like to see more of on TV. But we probably will never see anything like it.

Ooo I forgot about morally ambiguous villainous companions that would be interesting if they brought them back!🤔😈😀 What if we had a double agent companion who was tasked with assassinating the Doctor but ended up genuinely enjoying the adventures they went on with the Doctor🤔

This is why I think they really should bring Destrii in- she starts out as a brutal, selfish, and cruel creature who is only looking after herself... And we learn of the fact that she has a crush on the Doctor (and sexually assaults him, because she is used to just taking what she wants). But then we also learn about her horrific backstory and the character gradually gets more and more emotional depth and we go from absolutely hating her to understanding her and in the end accepting and loving her.
I think something in that form has only been done in the comics so far.

What if we had a companion who was not just morally ambiguous but was revealed to be the series big bad?😈🤔 That would be great. Especially if they took their time with it. BF has done this before, but resolved the story in just a 2 hour release. It would have been more effective in a longer story arch.

What if this the twist for 14’s (whoever that may be) first series and the companion tricked them into thinking they were their perfect almost archetypal companion (Curious, young modern day Earth girl perhaps with a slight crush on the Doctor) when actually they were a viscous alien queen/ war lord or mad scientist who wants to use the Doctor for their own ends! And what if 14 picked this false companion over a side character who came across worse initially (not companion material) and realize during the series finale they should have traveled with the more unconventional side character all along!

Something I saw when I was making my rounds on Twitter was the comparison between the different Sontaran designs. After a while, it made me realize that my favourite design is the one from The Two Doctors.

At different points in the Doctor’s life I am almost certain that they have: written a memoir, played themselves in a movie/tv show, had success at rock stardom, been an artist, wrote children’s adventure novels, had a play written about them, won a dance/singing competition, started new fashion trends, got a disastrous makeover, u opened a new school for especially curious young people, been turned into a werewolf and a vampire, featured on a travel show, started a new dance craze, won the Noble prize, stared on the west end, Created a new language🤔😃
We need new iconic monsters and villains on the tv series that aren’t the Daleks/Davros, Cyberman, or Master. Something surprising perhaps and menacing 🤔
I want the fairytale feel to come back to Who both on tv and more on big finish I miss that!
I want musical episodes both tv and Big Finish😊
A black and white episode either film noir, silent, or old school horror.
Clara did not stay on the show too long, she stayed exactly as long as she needed to tell her story of becoming like the Doctor and the complicated tragic love story between her and her soulmate, the Doctor.
As much as I love 10 he could be an arrogant prick sometimes especially to Martha! Martha deserves to travel with a different incarnation of the Doctor, perhaps 12 or 13. I think either of them would treat her much better.
I like 11 a lot ( but not as much as 12 or 10) but for some reason he tires me out, if I watch too much of his episodes in a row. Something to do with his personality.
9 was a brilliant Doctor and he and Rose were wonderful together.
Someday Donna will come back and get her memory back. For reason I headcannon that the Doctor will get a companion that seems oddly familiar (and rather sassy) only for it to be revealed that they are Donna’s child.
12 reunited with a lot of previous companions in between series 9 and 10: including Sarah Jane,Jo Grant, Rose, etc.
Sixie needs to sing more often, 12 needs to sing as well!
I don’t know if this has been explored in expanded media but but I think it would be cool to have flying gargoyle weeping angels!
Even though the absorbaloff was not the best monster, I think the tv series should have more official fan submitted content both by kids and adults. I think it would be amazing if they had a contest for a fan to write a tv episode!
12 was a total sweetheart who’s kind and poetic nature was hidden behind a rough exterior and social awkwardness.
13 is not all sunshine and rainbows and is actually quite manipulative sort of a modern 7.
9 and 12 would get along really well. They are both darker Doctors hurting in different ways. They both have companions (Rose, Clara) who help rehabilitate them, have romantic angles to their relationships, and gradually less interested in normal life.
I want a story about the wholly rebellion that 13 described in it takes you away🐑
RuthDoctor deserves a big finish spin-off unless she’s secretly actually 14 in which case she will make an awesome 14😉 Also her Doctor and 12 definitely need to meet!
I know a lot of people think that 12’s era wasn’t as dark as promised or complained that he became too silly/changed to drastically and the the guitar/rockstar persona was too much. I think that his changes and in personality(lightening of his Doctor) was entirely the point and it’s rather unique to have a Doctor that starts out rather dark and ends much lighter in personality. Excluding series 10 (which is still brilliant) I would say his and Clara’s story is akin to Beauty and the Beast. Also I think his rockstar side is an essential part of his personality, giving 12 an outlet to express emotions though music where words fail him.
I have difficulty rewatching Hell Bent not because it’s a bad episode, I personally think it’s an admirable finale, but because it makes me feel far too sad to watch the end ( for now) of 12 and Clara’s relationship. I have a similar feeling with Twice upon a Time. This may sound silly but even though I like 13 and I love 12’s regeneration speech, I can’t bring myself to rewatch the episode because that regeneration feels too much like an actual death to me, like loosing a close friend.
The only thing that makes me feel better about Hell Bent and Twice upon a Time is my headcannon that one of the faces the Doctor revisited was 12 and that he spent Clara’s last remaining years with her before she had to return to her death, and had lots of adventures together💙💙
Does anyone else have any Doctor Who episodes that make them too sad/emotional that they actually have difficulty even rewatching them?

I find it interesting when the Doctor gets in awkward or embarrassing situations especially when it a fish out of water plot🤔😁
WARNING incoming rant⚠️: I hate it when certain Doctors get left out of things, like the video today that had 10, 11, and 13 but not 12😠 That video really rubbed me the wrong way leaving him out! I swear they leave 12 out of things because of him not being a cute young and marketable Doctor like the other new Who Doctors😡🙁 He better be included in the in the 60th Anniversary Special! :End Rant, okay I feel a bit better for for venting now😤🙂
I love a bit of camp and silliness in Doctor Who! Especially when there are lots of double entendres and saucey humor😉😁
12 and the Fugitive Doctor need scenes together in the 60th special! 😀 Also Clara should definitely come back too for the 60th!
I want a Doctor Who episode or big finish audio in the style of Fawlty Towers, complete with wacky misunderstandings that spiral out of control, opening and closing doors, and the Doctor having a hissy fit!😁
Also a tv episode that is the style of a silent film, done in black and white with subtitles would be amazing!
I love all the Doctors but I have I trouble getting into 5, because he’s just a little too bland for my taste although I am slowly starting to appreciate him more for his vulnerability and world weariness🤔 I like 11 but I find his personality slightly exhausting if I watch a lot of his episodes in a row🤔 All the Doctors are brilliant in their way though!😊
