"Big Finish continues to go from strength to strength, telling audio adventures of the first eleven incarnations of the Doctor and their companions"
I'm having a little trouble wrapping my head round this sentence. First eleven incarnations? Surely Hartnell through Hurt (breaking at 'the Eccleston line') is only 9? Or even if we skip Hurt and defer to TV airing order, this would be Hartnell to Smith--even though neither Eccleston nor Smith are working with Big Finish?
Regardless though, this is very welcome news to my ears. My wallet perhaps not so much, but it's nice to know some of my favourite entertainment isn't going away any time soon!

Wasn't the license only renewed last year anyway? It's never too early to start panicking!

And I wonder how long before a main range sale!?!?!? More concerning to my wallet is the thought of another main range extra extended long subscription?

Looking forward to Jago & Litefoot series 30 I'm looking forward to the The Eighth Doctor: The Time War volume 17. Slighty daunting to realise just how much BF who content there will be a decade from now, the number of audio stories already vastly outnumbers that the of the TV Series...

And the Big Finish evil overlords cackle as they take all our hard earned money for at least another 5 years

And I wonder how long before a main range sale!?!?!? Wouldn't be surprised if MR 50-100 are put on permanent discount eventually, some of the stories are nearing a decade old, and many people, myself included intially used the discounted first 50 price as a jumping on point for the audios.

Looking forward to Jago & Litefoot series 30 I'm looking forward to The K9 and Handles adventures myself I don't want to be morbid, but given the advancing years of many of BF's regular actors I wonder how far in advance they record or 'bank' stories?

It's not really morbid, it is being pragmatic and realistic. Okay. Maybe it is a little morbid.

7 doctors and counting i think matt will come on board eventually he has to establish himself as matt smith again not just the 11 doctor
i think it would take a miracle to get ecclstone on board . for some reason i dont think he wants to come back even though he said the problem the people he was working for were mistreating folks on the production. big finish arent those people different production company different animal . even with that i think there is zero chance he comes back.

"Big Finish continues to go from strength to strength, telling audio adventures of the first eleven incarnations of the Doctor and their companions" I suspect that comment is based on what's in the licence, not what's happening in reality on the ground.

In fairness they did do a 9th Dr story in the Churchill diaries, so it's not technically wrong...

It's a grim topic

My wallet is still warm from buying the main range super-subscription so I really was not expecting this news but it's AMAZING to hear!
Considering the number and magnitude of releases this month coupled with this news, is it now safe to say that May 2016 is the biggest month Big Finish has ever had as a company?

I think with Eccleston it is just a matter of time, just like it took a while to get Tom Baker on board. Thankfully BF have that time here.

I'm glad to know that the licence has been extended so far in advance. It's always nice to know that we have at least nine years of Big Finish Doctor Who audios ahead of us. Just think how many great things they'll have done with the licence by 2025.
It's also a good sign that they made sure to mention that Torchwood is included too in the licence extension. It looks like they have long term plans for it.
