One thing I would love would be if BF was allowed to sell the Download versions of the old Audio-Exclusive AudioGo stories. A whole mess of rights there, I doubt it will ever happen, Amazon bought the rights that AudioGo in Administration retained, the rights to Doctor Who etc probably reverted to the BBC, and then who only knows what happened to the rights of the authors and actors. I suspect it would easier for BF to just redo them from scratch, that is, so long as the authors have got back the right to sell them again... a mess.

I am so happy to read the following passage from the announcement. I couldn't have put it better what I like so much about Big Finish. It's delightful to hear them getting this kind of much-deserved appreciation from the BBC.
'We very much look forward to continuing to work with Big Finish over the coming years,' says Jan Paterson, Head of Audio Publishing at BBC Worldwide. 'The high standards of their productions — quality scripts, impeccable sound design and music, and impressive casting that utilises some of the country’s biggest stars — are a reflection of the care and thought that goes into every audio.'

I'm happy to see the license extended for so long! It's shocking to think I'll be nearly thirty by the time we begin wondering again whether we'll have more Doctor Who to listen to!

In fact, if you include The Churchill Diaries" they've done stories with 12 Doctors. 1-8, War, 9-11 (Churchill).

This news made my day, Big Finish rarely disappoint & we have two more Doctors added to the ranges now with John Hurt & David Tennant.

I like that the banner to announce this has both War and ten on it, suggesting that they're not 2016 exclusive outings for them. I asked on their Facebook and they said the new series is part of the same license. So definitely more new series audios until 2025 at least!

Great news. I wouldn't have doubted the likelihood of a re-extension, but for the issue around the reboot

This news is wonderful! Not only will there be at least 10 more years of Big Finish Doctor Who but as well as another 10 years to catch up on the massive backlog. One day I shall have them all! HA HA HA!!!

Yes, I was under the impression that RTD convincing BBC Worldwide not to retract the license was why Big Finish put him in the "Big Finish wishes to thank..." on all releases since 2005.
