Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, director Sam Raimi has gone back to his horror routes & made this a batsh.t scary horror & i loved it.
Marvel this is what you need to do from now on, shake up the tired formula which this film certainly did.

The Lego Movie (2014)
The other Lego films may have been less than impressive but this is still very good.

Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness Great fun. A decent story, and good deal of Sam Raimi's distinctive flair on display. I don't think it quite lived up to the title. I was expecting more realities and generally a crazier tone. But those moments where it does go darker and harder are very effective.

Saw Everything Everywhere All At Once last night. It’s undeniably creative and a lot of fun, but I thought it was so overlong and frantic that the underlying message just didn’t really land. Part one goes on for so long that it detracted from two and three, I felt. Still, as I said, it’s undeniably creative and I can’t fault the Daniels for nailing their vision and going all out.
Admittedly I did watch this with the worst audience I’ve experienced; incredible to think every single one of them owned a cinema card as it was a special cardholder screening. Will certainly rewatch and it’ll be interesting to see if opinion of this shifts over the years once the craziness settles down.

Jackie Chan Half A Loaf Of Kung Fu, this is batsh.t bonkers but entertaining kung fu hokum.
88 Films are doing great restoration on these older movies, i hope Magnificent Bodyguards another Chan classic gets a future release.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It was fine, still find the character quite dull but at least this one felt like it was directed by a human being rather than an algorithm. But felt a bit like an advert for other characters/spin-offs.

Yeah I saw it last night and I was bored stiff. There are a few really excellent moments sprinkled throughout, and maybe if the movie had been 75-90 minutes it would've been a blast, but at 2h20 I spent far too much time waiting for something--anything--interesting to happen. Someone in my showing actually got up and walked out halfway through, and she'd come in with a group of four or five people. Saw her in the lobby on my way out waiting for her friends.

"Sasquatch: The Legend Of Bigfoot". a mockumentary made in 1976.. Pure cheese badness, billed as a "horror" it was about as engaging as a midday movie.

Mean Girls
(Now there was reason behind this, several movie bloggers I've seen have said it has deeper subtext, deeper I don't know, but it dose raise an interesting premises of if you enter into a clique that doesn't suit your personality the whole clique system can collapse which can have a negative effect on the whole school structure, however at the same time its possible the outsider can enter the clique and influence the other members to evolve beyond their current clique to a different one. But the performances are not good at all!)

"Girls Night Out" an odd 1982 filmed slasher movie centered around a college.. www.imdb.com/title/tt0087336/
Interesting to note 1 of the really bad actors in this movie who is the son of a legendary actor, retired from acting and became a psychiatrist.
The ending is weird, I don't know if I as a twin should be offended LOLZ!

"Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark" 1973.. (Has since been remade by Guillmero DelToro(sp?) ) Trippy made for tv movie -. It's almost a drinking game, as the 2 main characters for most of the movie, hubby and wifey, are alone together and they tend to start off each sentence of dialogue with saying the other person's name (who does that?!).. Take a shot every time! LOLZ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_Be_Afraid_of_the_Dark_(1973_film)

Uncharted, should've cast Chris Pratt as Nathan Drake & Stephen Lang as Sully.
Overall a average movie but not buying Tom Holland as Nathan Drake.

Ghostbusters Afterlife
(Now that's how to be faithful to and at the same time adapt a franchise for a new generation)
Final Score
(Dave Bauista does "Die Hard" with the setting being the Upton Park during a Football game)
Random "FF" watch this time it was No 6

I'm reading both of your thoughts about this film and I'm trying to decide if we were talking about the same movie. I adored it. I loved it all, and the tedium at the beginning was almost certainly intentional to set up the rest of the movie. I found it creative and unique, emotional, and one of the best movies I've seen in ages.

I found it creative and unique, emotional, and one of the best movies I've seen in ages. Same. Easily one of the most refreshing and earnestly fun movies I've seen in a long while... you can really feel the passion that went it to it on every level. That last movie that got me similarly engaged was... probably Knives Out? I dunno. It's been a while.
