Since they rolled back to the old versions I can’t load the website if logged in and can’t load any purchases in the app…

Interesting fact
When I try to get to the BF website through entering its web address it takes ages to load . . . but when I clicked on the link to Vortex 117 in the Benny timeline thread on this very forum I got there instantly

I have a friend who is at LI Who this weekend. He posted a photo of Jason Haigh-Ellery at a Big Finish panel. I jokingly commented "Any mentions about the website " My friend replied "old website will still be there for at least 6 months."

It is DU's own elkawho that is interviewing him! But at least 6 months. OMG it really is a mess.

My friend replied "old website will still be there for at least 6 months." Longer than I expected. That's unfortunate, purchases through the new site were a lot cheaper for me. I'd have put in more preorders if I knew that would be the case.

Six months?
A competent firm could do the whole job including beta testing faster....

Six months? Fine. The website is perfectly fit for purpose, as much as I understand the idea of future-proofing. It’s the app that’s the thing thst’ll be turning customers off “ohh you can download them and play them on other media players…” and? So? Been here since Genocide Machine, and I cannot access expect via the most convoluted of means any of my purchases.

6 Months to relaunch after 2 Years development and 3 Months Beta Testing? If its the same "Professionals" I hope they're doing it for free.
Practically though the current Old Site is fit for use for me.

Ok folks. It's been a busy day.
Yes, that comment was from my interview. But here's a little more context.
Firstly, Jason apologized again for this whole mess, and explained why they needed to upgrage the website. They want and need to do a lot more outreach on social media and are unable to at this time. This current site main core programming is from 2011 and is just completely out of date. He was limited regarding what he could say publically due to "certain things happening", or something to that affect. I believe there are lawsuits and he just can't speak about the details.
Yes, it will be at least 6 month before they can again go live with the new website. During that time there will be changes made and A LOT of testing. Part of that testing will include costumers and fans who volunteer as testers. They will ask these volunteers at some point to all try and log on to the site at the same time, as a test, to see how well the site can handle fast and large changes in volume. And there will be other tests along the way. So it seems that they will be looking for a good amount of beta testers.

I really hope they do something different this time, perhaps setup a Survey, that everyone that has an account gets to fill out.
"What do you want the app/website to do?"
App.. #1 "The ability to sort through RANGES", then Ascending/Descending alphabetically and/or Purchase Date/Release Date".
Website- "Please see above regarding sorting properly by RANGES. And the green "You Got This" circle needs to come back. -An upgrade should mean less clicks of a button- so if you are upgrading a process, please compare with the current/older website.. Sometimes less is more..
And Hopefully- they reach out to some of us Forumers to be Beta Testers.

Just send out beta tester requests to everyone with an account.
