Trust me, there are far more polite ways to ask.
However, I wasn't referring to one specific show, she's been prominent in several high profile shows.

You've never heard of Katherine Kelly? She's a hugely in-demand actor and one of the most well-known to come from British soaps. Also disagree that Miss Quill is 'naff' or over-played: Katherine Kelly as you would expect from one of the nation's most beloved actors is doing a stunning job. Nation's most beloved... No. No. No. Everyone everywhere loves soaps... not. Anyone who doesn't watch the soaps, very probably hates the soaps. I'm now starting to understand a lot of things you've said in the past now... She hasn't only been in Coronation Street though. Katherine Kelly is hugely well-known for her role in Mr Selfridge; she also appeared in ITV's The Sound of Music Live and BBC's The Night Manager.

And Happy Valley. One would struggle to say that show wasn't high profile.

Katherine Kelly is hugely well-known for her role in Mr Selfridge; she also appeared in ITV's The Sound of Music Live and BBC's The Night Manager. But she wasn't a very prominent character in the Night Manager, at least. Don't know about the others. She was still in it, in a part that was enough for her to be credited alongside the show's recurring cast. The other examples I mentioned she is one of the main characters.

I didn't know who ye were going on about until I saw the picture above!
So she's not famous in my house... although she's welcome to come around for tea anytime.

One of the posters on GB claims Murray Gold will be stepping down as composer for the show, leaving with Moffat next Christmas, after 13 years in the job.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him step down after so long in the job, and as much as I've enjoyed his music fresh blood might be a good thing.

Murray Gold's a big part of the new series' identity. If he does step down, Peter Capaldi should take over as composer and make every piece of music guitar riffs.

The series is bigger than any one person and his twelfth Doctor work has felt really stale. Love the guitar idea though.

Naturally. That is how it should. I trust, also, you will be dealing with a particular individual who's sole behaviour on this board has been to repeatedly belittle others, and play contrarian past a point of merely expressing an opinion.

Individuals are allowed to express their opinions here, even if it's not the generally held view, as long as it is done respectfully.
If you have a specific complaint, use the "report post function" and we moderators will discuss the complaint and decide on an action.
Please note that you may not be aware of what action has been taken, as most cmplaints about individual posters are dealt with privately between the moderators and the poster in question.
Thanks for your understanding.

I would rate that as unfair, as to whoever you are pointing out. We are all allowed to have opinions, are we not? And, are we not, allowed to debate them?

I would rate that as unfair, as to whoever you are pointing out. We are all allowed to have opinions, are we not? And, are we not, allowed to debate them? There's a difference between "debate" and "belittling" & "playing contrarian". Debate is the only acceptable one. Basically if one can only debate in those ways, one shouldn't be debating. They're all very strong words, as in the aforementioned ones. But I, personally, can only think of one example in this thread when somebody was being rude to someone (or you could count it as a couple, but I'm not downing it to specific quotes, but rather areas of discussion), but I cannot think of anyone being belittling and playing contrarian. Besides, are either of those things even illegal?
