I wonder why they decided not to have Captain Yates this time around? Also, am I the only one who finds it hilarious that there is a character named Zim?

Listening to Episode 1. It's brilliant! Great stuff! Going to listen to this now myself. The Halloween podcast revealed release date as this Thursday (3rd Nov). Feel I may well do a last-minute pre-order tomorrow

Wow that was great. Cracking pace, great performances from Treloar and Manning and nicely quirky supporting characters. Feels like it captures the tone of the Pertwee era really well. Looking forward to hearing the rest.

I don't often download free first episodes because I like to have the choice to listen to the whole story if the mood takes me. I couldn't resist this though, and I'm glad I didn't. Putting aside how enjoyable the episode was, I had a smile on my face throughout because of Tim Treloar's terrific interpretation of The Third Doctor. As a recast, I can't imagine anyone better.

I'm only one episode in to The Transcendence of Ephos, and It's wonderful. I liked Treloar in the last volume, however he has improved so much. And the guest cast is marvelous. I just love Bernard Holly. I recognized that Portrait's voice almost immediately.

Very good
I think I preferred The Hidden Realm overall but The Transcendance of Ephros has such a clever little twist in it...
Nice guest cast performances and an Era invoking soundscape.
Here's to Vol 3 next July.
