Pence has a more stable personality, but he also has some pretty disgusting viewpoints. Pence also seems like he would be more capable of pushing through his agenda than Trump is. They are both pretty awful choices though. Word.

I actually wonder if someone (and I mean CIA etc) is already planning to drive Trump over the edge. If I was heading up the CIA, I would probably be planning to do it sooner rather than later, that way you get to potentially isolate Trump before he gets real power and before an enemy of the US does it in such a way as to get Trump to do something extraordinary damaging to the US and it's interests. But yes, if I was a state, perhaps Mexico or some such, I would seriously looking at how I got Trump to overplay his hand, he seems trigger happy and you have to consider that enemies and allies alike are wondering how they can trigger it in a way that doesn't damage them but does damage Trump and potentially the US etc. As much as I despise Trump, the idea of the CIA actively attempting to damage the President is terrifying. We need to get rid of Trump, but we need to do it legitimately. Either impeach him if he does anything illegal (though then we're stuck with Pence) or vote him out in 2020. I agree, the idea is horrific on many levels, I just struggle to believe that in some corner someone isn't planning it, it's been done before and whilst that doesn't mean it will happen now, I don't believe it will never happen again.

Just as bad at least. Pence is awful He is awful. But unlike Trump, he doesn't fly off the handle over the smallest things. Apparently, an actor in Hamilton said this to Pence after the show: “We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights. We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.” So the President Elect had a public tantrum on twitter: Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen! — Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) Nov. 19, 2016 The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize! — Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) Nov. 19, 2016 www.nytimes.com/2016/11/19/us/mike-pence-hamilton.html?mabReward=A5&recp=0&action=click&pgtype=Homepage®ion=CColumn&module=Recommendation&src=rechp&WT.nav=RecEngine&_r=0Ugh. It's so embarrassing, but it's also extremely worrying. How is he going to behave in a tense international situation? What's he going to do if NK or Iran insults him once he has his hands on something more substantial than twitter? As bad as Pence is, he can at least behave like an adult. I've had spineless managers with thicker skin than Trump. Mike Pence gets a very respectful and heartfelt plea from the cast of a very influential and topical show and Donald Trump frames it as the cast full out attacking him so he can play wounded gazelle. Our president ladies and gentlemen.

If the Electoral College had any gall they would vote against him. The Electoral College has the right to vote against the people if they think the President voted in was the wrong choice (and in this case you could argue he only won by the States not the Popular Vote) . This is why Alexander Hamilton wanted the Electoral College in the first place in case the people made the wrong choice.
He is not fit to rule this country. He rants & raves on twitter. He has major conflicts of interest with his businesses (and letting his children run them does not take away those conflicts) and he is supported by White Supremacists. And yes I realized he denounced them but too little too late.
We can also add he lies constantly and changes his mind on whim. Though I suppose most politicians do that except people voted for him because they think he isn't a politician.

Someone needs to take away his phone, that's all I'm saying. No! Let him continue to spout the rubbish he really believes. I find his tweets shocking but also very informative, and eventually I suspect will be part his undoing.

No! Let him continue to spout the rubbish he really believes. I find his tweets shocking but also very informative, and eventually I suspect will be part his undoing. I just don't understamd how they haven't already been his undoing. If you can boast about sexually assaulting women, be openly racist, lie, post delusional tweets and still be elected to the highest office in the free world, then it clear his supporters believe that his promises to shake up the status quo are far more important than any of those things. It's a position I kind of understand, I have myself believed for a few years now that US political system is both broken (mostly because the Republicans make it so) and fundamentally corrupt, with money being able to effectively buy senators etc But Trump is still not my choice to shake that up, firstly because I don't believe he has any intention to shake things up at all, remember he's a liar, secondly a delusional narcissist is not someone fit to be in control of nuclear button.

His cabinet picks so far are the clearest indication we have that he has no intention of shaking things up. And his tweeting serves to distract from other things going on that he'd rather not have people focus on.

He now tweeted that the news outlets needs to prove that Hillary Clinton didn't get illegal votes. Is this man for real?
Yes Donald Hillary won the Popular Vote because of Ilegal Votes. If the Democrats were going to vote illegally wouldn't winning the Election have been the higher priority?
